Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of L'Estarti

Simply excellent. We booked a full week at the Marconia, staying in a 2 bed with our young child and a friend and found the whole experience wonderful. From the clean, spacious, and elegantly designed rooms to the beautiful pool area with beautiful landscaping and soft jazz - we couldn't have asked for more. The hotel is located in the bustling heart of L'Estartit's old town, which is great for access to the long sandy beach, marina, shops, weekly market and restaurants, however you wouldn't know it from the peace and quiet you experience the minute you enter the building. The rooms were cleaned daily and the AC kept the whole place comfortable whilst the heat raged outside. Cocktails served by the poolside made everything that bit sweeter! The only point to be aware is that the 2 bed flat is open plan,with a mezzanine main bedroom and a single room located off the living room but with no door. This was fine for us but light sleepers may need to check if other flats provide more separation.
