The apartment AIGUA in Cal Alemany offers plenty of space in inneren- and outer region. A double bedroom and a living room with 2 sofa beds. A large kitchen fully equipped and a very large terrace overlooking Torroja and vineyards around, to the holy mountain of the Montsant. Absolutely quiet, you only hear human voices. An undisturbed view over the magical landscape of the Priorat. The apartment is fully furnished and lovingly decorated. Of course, the kitchen is complete with microwave, electric stove, everything you will need is already there, and if you do not want to cook the restaurant Cal Joc offers a varied menu to suit all tastes! Cal Alemany is located on a dead end street, no traffic, just the neighbors go every now and then over.

The whole day is open in front of you plan trips by car or "only" around the village walking. admiring vineyards, Priorat wine tasting, explore hermitages, climb the Montsant, talk to the villagers go to the swimming pool and then enjoy a good meal in Cal Joc or into the distance, to Barcelona or Tarragona (World Heritage and Roman city). To the beach to Cambrils or Altafulla, with the children of Port Aventura to Reus in the footsteps of Gaudi. Enjoy the speed of AVE and be in three hours in Madrid, discover the Oceanarium in Valencia or the Ebro Delta or do anything about it, for enjoying a good book, explore a glass of wine in the evening, the Siuranafluss 10 minutes from the village, the nearest village walk (Gratallops, Porrera, Poboleda, etc.), eat there and cozy late afternoon hike back, that's all, and much more with us possible. We are on vacation in the Priorat region for over 40 years and always discover something new, unexpected, exciting. Since forward body, mind and soul!

Cute little village

4 of us came climbing to Siurana, Montsant and Margalef and had a great time. Pictures posted do not do the flat any justice - it is far nicer in reality. A lot of space, very warm, fully equiped kitchen, nice large terrace (which unfortunately in the winter time remains in the shade the whole day), modern TV, fast wifi.

Quiet, stunning scenery, historic & quaint village

This apartment had already been booked, but the very helpful owner, Montserrat, had a lovely alternative in Torroja at Cal Viola, apartment Groc. It’s listed separately on the HomeAway site. An apartment with mezzanine double bedroom with well equipped kitchen and furniture. Large bathroom with shower. A TV with Spanish channels only and large fridge with freezer above. The area has just stunning scenery at every turn. As cyclists it was a truly fantastic area to ride in. Quiet, well surfaced roads with challenging hills but not too severe! Montsant is awesome and draws your gaze all the time. Shame the terrace at the apartment is north facing, so morning sun only and no view of Montsant, but it still has stunning views of other hills surrounding Torroja. The local restaurant Cal Joc, offers good food and drink (lots of local wine) at reasonable prices. In February, it was only open at the weekend but open all week in the summer. A must place to go whilst in Torroja. Overall, a lovely apartment and village and one that we will surely return to in the future.

Wonderful place

This is a lovely house in a quiet little town with lots of climbing, hiking, and cycling opportunities nearby...not to mention the wine! The house is very comfortable and spacious with a well-equiped kitchen and a patio. Montserrat is very knowledgeable about the area and is extremely helpful if you need information. Climbers, you are about 20-30 minutes drive from Siurana or Montsant, and perhaps 40-45 to Margalef. Highly recommended!

Dreckig und in die Jahre gekommen

Leider nicht so schön. Der Innenhof des GebĂ€udes dient als Katzenkloo. Demnach sind dort viele Fliegen. Kein Fenster hat ein Fliegengitter. Deshalb hatten wir schnell Viecher in der Wohnung. Als wir am ersten Tag angekommen sind stand links neben der HaustĂŒr ein Wischeimer. Dieser war noch gefĂŒllt mit dreckigem Wischwasser. Als wir am ersten Abend noch eine Kleinigkeit essen wollten nahmen wir Teller, GlĂ€ser und Besteck aus den SchrĂ€nken. Dieses war nicht richtig gespĂŒlt, es befanden sich noch Speisereste dran. SĂ€mtliche Fenster waren schmierig, sodass wenn die Sonne durchschien man kaum durchsehen konnte. Die Toilette roch sehr nach Urin was womöglich an den alten Leitungen des GebĂ€udes lag. Beim Reinigen des Badezimmers sahen wir wie dreckig es dort war. Alles war nur oberflĂ€chlich geputzt. Unter dem Badezimmerschrank war eine dicke Staubschicht und Haare von vorherigen Urlaubern. Auf dem Badezimmerschrank war ebenfalls eine dicke Staubschicht. Die HandtĂŒcher, die fĂŒr uns zurecht gelegt waren hatten lange ZiehfĂ€den und sahen unansehnlich aus. Das Schlimmste kommt zuletzt: am Ende der ersten Woche bemerkte wir kleine „Krabbelviecher“ in unserem Schlafzimmer. Wir haben dort sofort ein Insektenschutzmittel versprĂŒht, aber irgendwie wurden die Viecher immer mehr und krabbelten nunmehr in unseren Anziehsachen herum. Am nĂ€chsten Tag wurde von der zustĂ€ndigen Reinigungsfrau eine Kommode aus dem Schlafzimmer entsorgt. Die vermutlichen BrotkĂ€fer hatten dort Unterschlupf gefunden

Vacances mémorables loin de tout

Beau gĂźte en montagne, trop de clartĂ© au niveau du sĂ©jour compte tenu des grosses chaleurs. Point nĂ©gatif : l'ACCUEIL. Personne pour nous accueillir. Aucun signe distinctif d'Abritel ou autre pour savoir oĂč cela se trouvait. Nous avons Ă©tĂ© obligĂ©s d'appeler, Ă  2 reprises, la propriĂ©taire (en Allemagne) pour savoir oĂč nous devions nous rendre. C'est vraiment triste. En plus, c'Ă©tait au 2e Ă©tage. Nous n'avons pas eu accĂšs non plus Ă  la piscine. Elle ne nous a pas prĂ©venu.

Großartige Umgebung - Ruhe pur

Wir waren Ende MĂ€rz 2018 fĂŒr eine Woche in Torroja del Priorat in der GĂ€stewohnung "Aigua", die mitten im Ort liegt - keine Autos, kein LĂ€rm, einfach ruhig. Vom Wohnzimmer aus gibtÂŽs einen tollen Blick auf den "Heiligen Berg" Montsant, alles ist hell und freundlich, sehr sauber. Frau Montserrat Daemisch-Falgueras haben wir am vorletzten Tag persönlich getroffen, eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Vor der Anreise gab sie uns viele Tipps fĂŒr die alltĂ€glichen Dinge und fĂŒr AusflĂŒge in die Umgebung. In der GĂ€stewohnung liegen hilfreiche Karten mit vielen Tipps. Wir hatten großartige SpaziergĂ€nge durch die Weinberge und Ruhe pur. Als wir dort waren, eröffnete 2 Tage vor unserer Abreise (saisonbedingt) das sehr empfehlenswerte (und auch einzige) Restaurant in dem kleinen Ort, das Cal Jog. Wir ,mĂŒssen unbedingt zur Weinernte noch einmal kommen. Sabine und Andreas aus Hannover
