Beautiful Villa but a car is a must!My Family and I (10 in total) stayed at Villa Casa Lena Del Sol and it was amazing!However…The drive to the Villa from Plaza Tomás González Ramírez only appears a few minutes drive on a map but is over 10 minutes in reality. The steep, winding single-track road can be a little daunting for less experienced drivers and if you do hire a car, make sure it has plenty of power to climb the hills (my brother hired a smaller car and had to get out so my sister-in-law could drive up certain parts of the road). As with everything though, once you get used to it, it becomes more palatable and easier the more times you make the journey.On to the Villa…Villa Casa Lena Del Sol is exactly as you see on the photos, breathtaking views, beautiful surroundings, modern finishes to the interior (bathrooms especially feel as though they have had a recent renovation) and the outdoor space is plentiful.Despite the drive, I would still recommend the Villa as when we had family days in the Villa, the serenity and peace (only spoiled by the children) was priceless and you felt as if you hired the entire hilltop!The pool and the outdoor kitchen are 2 of the biggest draws to the Villa as we made plenty of use of both.The hostess Lauden was extremely attentive, helpful and quick to respond with any questions we had.Overall, don’t let the drive put you off, stock up on food and drink and enjoy the comfort and quality Villa Casa Lena Del Sol offers.
