I was not very happy when I got to the hotel and was told that the pool was down for maintenance. No where in the best western website or on expedia did it say the pool was closed. That was the reason for the stay was for my daughter’s birthday party. So we had to cancel the reservation and I’m waiting for the refund

The dinner we had was top notch. Service was awesome. Our room furniture is, two chairs and couch. All need replaced. No padding on the chairs and the couch is really uncomfortable. The water smells awful, served in the restaurant and the rooms. After the awesome dinner we had the breakfast can't compare. Instant eggs and microwave sausage patties. Taters were good. It was a Motel 6 breakfast. Beds were comfortable. Desk staff were very nice. The gentleman who works the nightshift, was very polite and professional.

The first room I was assigned smelled strongly of animals. I moved to another room. It was less of an odor but still there. The rooms and hotel need to be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, carpet replaced and more rules about pets using the bathroom in the rooms. Elevator and halls smelled strongly of weed. I travel frequently and this was one of the worst stays in recent memory.
