Wonderful week at Goombay Shack!

What a wonderful week we had! Property is exactly as pictured, but even more spacious in person. The layout is very conducive to families or extended family since everyone has their own bathrooms and is spread out well. Kitchen was stocked with all kinds of everyday cooking items as well as basic items like salt, pepper, coffee filters etc. Tons of towels as well which is great. The washer dryer is a huge plus as well. The deck was perfect and huge and we spent many nights hanging outside after dinner relaxing. The outdoor shower is amazing and great for both showers and cleaning off after the beach. The beach is spectacular and water crystal clear with no sea grass in the area. We saw stingrays, barracuda and a turtle as well. We will be back for sure! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

We stayed here in February. From the moment you walk through the door you can see that so much attention to detail has been paid. The décor is a delight. Every wall has something fun to entertain the eyes and the soul. We have 2 families with a total of 4 adults and 4 kids. There was more than enough space with plenty of areas to relax in so we weren't on top of each other. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect. The kitchen was well appointed and there was laundry hidden in the half bath which was a great bonus. We had a golf cart delivered on our arrival. Everything was a 2 minute cart ride away, ATM, supermarket, Coco's. Tipsy Seagull, Abaco Activities (snorkeling, boat trips, fishing etc.), bakery, gift shop. The pool was 2 doors away and beach was a 2 minute walk. You can't ask for more. When the advertised bikes were missing, Mike offered to rent some and pay for them. He was quick, responsive and great. For couples or families, you can't go wrong. It was a older and younger crowd and everyone was super friendly. Thanks for a perfect week Mike.

Absolutely beautiful and spacious

I couldn’t believe how nicely decorated and fully furnished the villa was . All the amenities we needed , cups plates and bowls and all the cooking things we needed . Also an outdoor shower and a brand new bbq grill . This is the biggest villa around 4 large bedrooms and 4 bathrooms . Couldn’t have asked for a better place and location right on the beach and next to the pool . We had an amazing time and will be back next year

The Goombay Shack is awesome. Great location! Clean, roomy and ideal spot close to beach. Some of counters seem to be cracking but other than that the place was great. Hope to stay there again next year!
