You Cause Burns
We've stayed here several times, but unfortunately, this visit was a nightmare. While I was checking in, the gentleman at the front desk repeatedly reminded me—six times—that I was not allowed to have guests and that only my children and I could use the pool. I had no issue with the pool rule, but the constant repetition felt excessive. After finishing the check-in process, aThe hotel has a pool and a hot tub—while my two younger children played in the pool, my older daughter and I decided to use the hot tub. However, we noticed a sign stating it was closed, so we went to the front desk to ask if it would be off-limits all night. The employee at the desk seemed confused, saying they hadn’t put up the sign and had no idea why it was there. They told us to go ahead and use it, so we did.
I only had my feet in while my daughter was fully immersed, enjoying a moment of relaxation. After about 10 minutes, she suddenly felt an intense burning sensation on her skin and had to get out immediately. As soon as she stepped out, we noticed welts forming on her arms and legs, and her army green swimsuit had faded to an off-green and yellow color.
Not only is her $50 swimsuit completely ruined, but she suffered chemical burns on her skin. And to make matters worse, the hotel staff didn’t seem to care at all. When we reported the incident to the front desk, all we got was a dismissive, "OMG, I'm so sorry," before they moved on to the next customer without offering any real assistance.
