This property is perfect for small groups or families. Enjoy the convenience of cable television, WIFI, washer, dryer, wood stove and electric heaters in each room during your stay. Sugar Bowl is minutes away. Panoramic views of Donner Lake. Our condo is equipped for both long or short term stays to make your holiday or vacation one to remember. Ski Leases and long term stays are available and include discounts. Swimming is at your own risk as NO LIFEGUARDS are on duty!

This is the best place we’ve stayed in Donner area so far! First, the property owner/manager, Jim is very nice and responsive. We had to reschedule our trip TIWCE due to the winter storm, and he accommodated new dates without any hesitation. Second, the property itself is exceptional; especially the breathtaking lake view, it’s just right in front of you. Lastly, it’s so convenient to access to ski resorts, like donner downhill, boreal, and soda springs is about 15 minutes drive. We stayed a few nights here and loved every minute. We’ll definitely come back again.

The lake view from the living room, the clean condo, and the 10-minute drive to Sugar Bowl were the highlights. We had a comfortable stay. There are heaters in every room, so we had a good rest.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It’s right on Donner Lake with a private beach and dock area and a beautiful view of the lake. The living/dining area has a tall ceiling with skylights in it so it’s very light and airy, with a nice balcony to sit out on and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the lake. The kitchen is small, but was stocked with all we needed and there is a nice outdoor barbecue area that is one of the amenities provided. The bedrooms are upstairs and have a nice sitting room area with a TV and couch that overlooks the main room downstairs and has a great view of the lake.The host was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had during our stay.

New listing - lakeside condo

My family of 5 booked this condo over the winter so that we had easy access to ski Sugarbowl. It's about a 10-15 min easy drive away from Sugarbowl. It's located in a Donnor Lake condo complex. The unit itself was very clean, beautiful views (lakeside!). There's a porch that overlooks the water - nice to enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day. The unit is located on a second floor with no elevator. It has a washer/dryer in unit. Size was good for our family of 5.Kitchen could use a few more pots/pans and spices/seasonings. Overall, enough pots/pans but I don't cook extensively when we stay at VRBOs. We routinely go to Tahoe for weekend trips so I usually bring our food already cooked.There is no central heat - head is provided by radiators (in each room) and wood stove. This provided adequate heat, we were just confused at first. Check in process was smooth, owner communication was good. Property was clean and well maintained. When we stayed, there were no other reviews for the property, so not sure if it's a new listing. We had some issues at first due to extra person charge (25 per person if the group is 4 people). The owner also reached out to us about 1-2 weeks before our stay requesting an additional damage deposit. I don't mind the extra charges or damage deposit but wish it had been stated clearly at the time of booking. Hopefully this process will improve.
