This hotel is beautiful. The staff was wonderful and very helpful to my husband and I. The menu seems to have many options. However, I ate the same thing almost everyday sometimes twice a day because the options with chicken were so few. I don't eat beef, pork or seafood so could only enjoy molletes every morning. We ended up eating outside of the hotel just to get a variety.

Amazing hotel with a private cenote, a little piece of paradise away from the busy street. Very serene place to enjoy a great DJ during the day, reading by the cenote, enjoying good (however pricey) food and drinks. The low point… we lamented being given a premium room with a view on abandoned structures that ruined the experience. Tried to change our room but the hotel management was totally deaf to our request, and only offered to upgrade us at a cost $65/night when we were already paying in excess of $300… so they left us with a very mixed feeling….

My stay at Shibari was wonderful! Staff were very professional, attentive & courteous. Check-in process was simple. They were able to check me in early. The room floor seemed like it wasn’t cleaned that well but the room and view was so beautiful it took the focus away from it. The cenote and restaurant area were amazing. Food taste amazing, a bit overpriced, but the taste, service & staff compensated for it. The fitness center can use some attention.

Shibari is a top notch resort. Not your typical all inclusive. Very quiet, friendly staff, amazing rooms, top notch restaurant, the cenote inside is a great feature. I highly recommend this place for couples.
