Great place to stay in the Medina. A little hard to find at 04:00 but we were very happy with our stay. And the staff is great, very helpful and they even spoke a little English, overall we were happy with the accommodations.

Das Haus ist sagenhaft, die Zimmer sind ein orientalischer Traum, aber das Mobiliar ist schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Mitte April war es im Zimmer dann auch ziemlich frisch, obwohl es draußen schon warm war -> Erkältungsgefahr. Im Sommer ist es bestimmt angenehm kühl gegen die Hitze draußen. Mit Englisch kommt man generell und auch im Hotel nicht sehr weit. Wenn man kein Französisch spricht, wird es kompliziert.

good hotel at sidi bou said!

This house is the best place to stay at sidi bou said! There are three big bedrooms, which had restrooms. Living room was huge! You can see the blue sky through the glass roof. There are the swimming pool, the kitchen and the terrace where you can see the beautiful ocean. I really recommend this house to stay here. I promise you can have a great time here.

Ubicato nella kasba, antica residenza restaurata, comodissimo per per tutte le direzioni e siti principali. Silenziosissimo e pulito con buona prima colazione. Ci si arriva solo a piedi in 2 minuti dalla piazza della Kasba dove si trovano sempre taxi. Una piacevole sorpresa, da consigliare.

Ich hatte einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Das Frühstück war lecker und der Kaffee schön stark. Das Hotelteam ist sehr höflich und hilfsbereit. Für mich einer der schönsten authentischen Häuser, in denen man schlafen kann. Ich komme wieder!

Endroit très calme dans la médina. Chambre bien aménagée avec le style tunisien et propre. Pas de téléviseur dans la chambre. Bon petit déjeuné ( pain, œuf à la cocque, confiture, légumes, fromage,jus et café). C’est principalement la réception qui est décevante. Très peu d’info sur l’endroit et les environs même si on le demande. Terrasse sur le toit est un plus. Wifi fragile. Dans l’ensemble, je recommande.

Liked very much the location of the hotel. Also, the hotel itself is very beautiful in the traditional style. Furniture is not new, but a sense of disgust does not cause. Service is not bad. Cleaning is almost not visible, but the staff is noticeably good-natured. Had problems with settlement, because we booked through bookin and had assurances that the hotel had the opportunity to pay by card .... but in real they they can’t. We did’t have cash, so, that did mack problem. But after talking with manager we did stay any way)))

Lugar acogedor.

El hotel es muy bonito y bien cuidado. Es una casa clásica ubicada en una calle muy tranquila y bonita. Como todo en la medina puede ser un poco confuso encontrar el hotel pero todo es así en lugares como las medinas de Túnez. Lo que si debe mejorar totalmente es el desayuno que es bastante básico y de muy poca cantidad. De resto nos encantó hospedarnos en Dar la medina.

A traditional hotel in the centre of the Medina.

Quite a long walk from a main road. Breakfast O K lunch available but we did not try it, dinner not available WIFI intermittent. Would not suit people who expect modern luxuries. Bathroom and toilet clean. Not easy to find, but people on the street were kind and helpful.

Vriendelijk personeel, kwamen ons buiten de Medina ophalen bij de taxi omdat je met de auto niet tot voor de deur kan komen. Dit is wel belangrijk als je zware koffers bij je hebt.
