Excellent place to stay with an excellent staff.

Our room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfasts were very good and exceptionally clean. The ladies did a great job. My biggest concern was the floor in our room (131). Whatever they used to clean the floors, makes the floors very slippery when humidity is present. When is humidity not present in Tuscaloosa! They were dangerous for older people.

The hotel was clean and everything was wonderful in terms of mattress and overall room presentation. Did not like the toilet tissue as was very thin but that is normal everywhere. The continental breakfast was wonderful and everything was presented well. Fresh fruit would have been nice also.

I have chosen this hotel for the last three years because it's the best of the medium priced hotels. This past stay will be my last. I was awoken at about 3 a.m. to a screaming baby in a room near mine. Then heard men opening and closing their doors and talking and it sounded like they were right outside my door. Finally, I guess they went in their room. As I was about to get to sleep the baby/child started screaming again. So, I decided to call downstairs and have the lady ask them to quiet the baby. No one ever answered my call to the front desk and I called numerous times. Again, the baby quieted and I tried to go to sleep to be awoken again. I was ready to switch rooms but the front desk never answered me. I spoke to the assistant manager in the morning. The second night was better. I did have to call about the baby again but the front desk did answer. Other things to note, the beds are on the firm side, breakfast is not bad, and parking is usually good.

Great value for the price

This was our first time at the Tuscaloosa location. The shower did need a deep clean but other than that It was your average la quinta. We did forget a few thing’s and were able to purchase from the store set up they had which was very nice and convenient. You could not beat the price. We are in town offer and now will be staying at the la Quinta from now on.
