Alpine’s hand-carved open wood beam ceilings and pine interiors give it that unique Swiss Alpine look. There is a stunning natural stone fireplace in the living room and one­-of­-a-­kind rustic accents. Originally built in the 1950s and has been remodeled. Some original pieces were left, like the claw-foot tub and antique stove. There’s plenty of room for dining with a built-in kitchen nook and a large log dining table for 10. Outside you’ll enjoy barbecuing on the deck or playing ping pong. Close by is a fun hike to what the locals called “Fairy Rocks”; a natural rock outcropping that gives you a fabulous view.
