The village is steeped in history, including the nearby 12th-century Church in the Sea, tales of smugglers and famous offshore shipwrecks.

The island of Anglesey has a 125-mile coastal path to explore, renowned seabird and wildlife populations including red squirrels. There are National Trust properties, gardens, the moated Castle in Beaumaris, the famous South Stack Light House, boat trips to Puffin Island or rib rides down the Menai Straits which run for most of the year. There is something for everyone of all ages to enjoy.
