Shortage of round the clock staff as usual in smaller properties in Europe. Room did not have water kettle when we checked in, after 40mins of our reaching the doors . But an old lady arrived at 8 am and provided supplies. The surroundings are beautiful. Close the lake front, numerous pubs and restaurants. But they all close very early and open very late.

Lovely stay but a few things to watch out for

Lovely stay in Überlingen - a great base to explore. The rooms are a great size and have all the amenities you might require. The bathroom is dated but functional and the shower was great. There's no AC so we kept the windows open. The hotel is very close to St. Nikolaus Münster - the church bells start ringing from 6am (including every quarter hour) so beware if you're a light sleeper! There is rarely someone on reception but you can phone to speak to someone. There is no car park but there are some recommended car parks on the hotel website. The website says you can obtain a discount card from the hotel - please note you need to collect this from the hotel BEFORE you enter the car park. Unfortunately we weren't informed of this beforehand so we were not able to use the discount. The only other thing to be mindful of is the fact that the hotel is listed as Hotel Le Fleur on Google Maps, but Hotel La Fleur everywhere else.

Décevant! L’annonce indique qu’il y a un parking, la dame qui nous a reçu nous assure qu’il n’y en a pas et que nous devons nous stationner dans un stationnement public que l’on doit trouver. Plus tard on lit sur le site qu’ils donnent normalement des réductions pour le stationnement et une « guestcard » pour les transports publics. Nous n’avons rien reçu. Ils indiquent que la réception est ouverte de 8h30 à 17h. Personne à 16h05 et à 9h15 le lendemain! L’annonce indique qu’il y a une buanderie, nous ne l’avons jamais trouvée et comme la réception était fermée, personne pour nous aider!

What a wonderful location, steps from the cathedral and the lovely Wed/Fri market. Also, less than one minute from the lake! Very clean and comfy too. Staff was extremely helpful with a late checkin and really made us feel at home! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Das Haus ist nahe beim Landungssteg, von wo überall hinkommt, Busse und Schiff. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Leider kein Frühstück, aber Bäckerei Diener in der Nähe und Richtung Landungssteg an der Ecke ein Naturaladen, wo ich auch sehr gut gefrühstückt habe.

Nettes Stadthotel, leider ohne Frühstück, keine besetzte Rezeption. In Überlingen das Auto zu parken, ist eine Katastrophe. Keine Parkplätze zu finden. Dieses Hotel ist für eine Anreise mit dem Auto völlig ungeeignet,....nie wieder.

This hotel gives a much better impression on the web or this platform than in reality. The hotel is NOT accessible by car. Nearest parking is more than 5 Minutes away in a public parking house. Bed linnen of blanket was dirty. No change of room was possible, as no personnel at the reception. Breakfast on Friday started from 9 - much too late for people with appointments or schedules. Really bad experience!!!!
