Room was lovely and the staff welcoming. kitchenette was great as their dining room was closed. I never did manage to get the heat working so it was decidedly cool in the room. Also no electrical outlet near the table which was not ideal for working and charging at the same time! Kleenex would have been appreciated.

Our stay at Silverstream Retreat was truly relaxing and enjoyable. The venue offers a peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by beautiful natural surroundings that make it easy to unwind. It is obvious that the Silverstream Retreat owners and staff take immense pride in their facilities, manaaki tangata (looking after their guests) and their environment. There is only one thing that would make it so much better ... the provision of bottled water so we don't need to fill the jug in the toilet. Please consider. Thank you all.

Noisy! The road noise was loud and constant. Noise from the room next door was loud, we could hear them as if they were in our apartment. The walls seem to be very thin. Would never stay here again.
