The Space:

The Kingdom Mu by Tiny Away sits on Upper Wilsons Creek Rd, NSW, offering a remote, peaceful escape in a secluded tiny house surrounded by rare old-growth forest. About 40 minutes from nearby towns and beaches, the journey winds through river crossings into a valley with no phone signal (satellite internet available).



Set on a quiet island with 360° forest views, this tiny home is made for slowing down. The 139-square-foot space includes a queen bed for two, air conditioning, easy water access, and a kitchenette with all the essentials, plus a bathroom with a cassette toilet, basin, and gas-heated shower.



Enjoy the riverside outdoor bath or unwind by the fire—these are just some of the experiences our guests love in our unique holiday homes.



Guest Access:

Guests have full access to the tiny home and its island surroundings. Swim in the creek, and enjoy the fireplace, and outdoor bath.

The Kingdom Mu by Tiny Away is perched on Upper Wilsons Creek Rd, NSW. Nearby gems include Protesters Falls Trail, Mount Jerusalem National Park, Minyon Falls Walking Track, and Whian Whian State Conservation Area, all 36–40 minutes from our tiny house. It’s a truly remote retreat where you can disconnect from city life, reconnect with nature, and fully relax.

Getting Around:

By Car:



- Mullumbimby, the closest town, is 20 minutes away

- Byron Bay is 45 minutes away

- 2WD vehicles work fine for the journey

- Heavy rain can affect river crossings

- Guests should reach out to the host beforehand to check conditions and arrange pickup or refund options if needed

- A wifi-friendly cafe and local gathering spot sits just 8 minutes from the property



By Public Transport:



- Access is by car only

- Nearest airports are Ballina and Gold Coast, both around a 1-hour drive with a rental car

- No mobile reception so guests can truly disconnect

Guest Advisory

- Pets are only allowed to stay OUTSIDE of the tiny house. Not inside the tiny house

- Pets are limited (2) ONLY. The property is fenced, but pets may still escape. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. Please contact the host 24 hours in advance—full pet policies will be provided upon booking.



Important note:



- BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests.
