This hotel is supposed to be "quaint" but I found it awful.
The toilet loudly leaked the entire 2 days we were there. I informed the hotel in the morning, we were gone all day, and as soon as we returned in the evening a plumber arrived and spent over an hour in our room and was not able to fix the situation. After an ill-timed knock on the door, I denied a second visit by the plumber. The situation was never fixed, and Guido said that nothing could be done for such inconvenience. If i am paying for the nicest room in a place, I don't expect to have multiple visits from a plumber, and certainly don't expect the hotel to act like they have done nothing wrong by neglecting their facilities.
Other issues: Generally you can't find any staff if you need to, for some reason you are supposed to enter through a side door. The sound of people at breakfast wakes you up in the morning. the decor is strange and awful (unless you like old antiques, which I don't). . If you pay for the suite at top don't expect much other than a view, the windows are dirty and bright light enters the room early in the morning.
Was a house converted into a hotel and it is not setup well to accommodate guests. Will never return.
