Lodge Seeblick 161 in the Tauern village of Enzingerboden

Lodge Seeblick is a comfortable chalet (semi detached house) with garden, 2 double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom, 1 en suite shower rooms, 1 shower room with sauna for 2-3 persons, open plan living room with kitchen and dining area, wood pellet burner. The master bedroom has a good sized double bed and comes with an en suite shower room and a balcony with mountain view. The second bedroom offers a double bed with lake view and the third bedroom comes with a single bed and lake view. These 2 rooms share a bathroom that also comes with a walk-in shower and a nice sauna for 2 to 3 persons. 



Imagine yourself and your loved ones coming home from a hard yet fulfilling day of skiing or walking, preparing a delicious meal together in the fully equipped kitchen and having a great dinner. Then you let the evening come in front of the crackling fire on the cuddly sofa. This is pure relaxation, well deserved!



During winter snow chains are recommened. The mountain road is a paved road and is cleared frequently but snow chains nevertheless snow chains may be required. The next supermarket and doctor office are both located in the valley at the town centre of Uttendorf which is 17km away.

During winter either snow chains or a 4 x 4 are necessary. The mountain road is a paved road and is cleared very well but nevertheless snow chains or a 4 x 4 may be required. The next supermarket and doctor office are both located in the valley at the town centre of Uttendorf which is 17km away.



The lake is a reservoir and the water is drained and dammed several times a day to produce electricity.

Therefore, unfortunately, it is not allowed to swim in the lake. The water would also be much too cold for bathing, it never rises above 10 degrees.

You can splash around a bit, let your feet hang in, etc. you can do it at the upper end where the stream runs into the lake. For swimming, we recommend our great bathing lake in the valley below. Enjoy your summer days with delicious meals on site, SUPs to borrow, a slide and a children's area.



Miscellaneous:

A hydroelectric power plant is expected to be built in the mountain by 2025. Please note that the work is being carried out inside the mountain so that our guests in Tauerndorf are not disturbed by noise stemming from any construction activity. We would ask for your understanding and can promise you that you will still enjoy the wonderful mountain world around the Weissee Glacier to the fullest. Without any doubt, you will be comfortable and feel at ease in the holiday apartments of Steinbock Lodges.

Maison mitoyenne très confortable, lumineuse, propre et bien équipée. Literie très confortable. Nous avons pu y séjourner avec notre chien ce qui est rare et très agréable. Logement au pied des télécabines. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de volets dans la chambre des enfants côté lac. La pelouse des terrasses aurait pu être tondue ça aurait été plus agréable pour manger dehors (côté lac). Travaux a partir de 8h mais vous n'y pouvez rien...

Generell schönes Haus, teilweise aber schon ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Schimmel im en-suite Bad in der Dusche, sehr verdreckter Sessel im Wohnzimmer, diverse Gegenstände defekt (Handtuchhalter großes Bad, Kommode Gästezimmer, …). Hätten wir uns etwas anders gewünscht.

Etwas abgelegenes Ferienhaus, aber das war uns bewusst und wie fanden es total entspannend. Die schmuddeligen Regentage haben wir mit einem abendlichen Saunabesuch im eigenen Haus ausklingen lassen. Der Ausblick auf den Stausee war traumhaft schön. Die Fahrt runter ins Tal dauerte doch länger, als ich vorher gedacht hatte, aber wer es etwas ruhiger liebt, ist dort gut aufgehoben.

Das Haus hat uns sehr gut gefallen, die Umgebung ist faszinierend, meine Familie war begeistert, wir haben ein 40. Geburtstag von meiner Frau dort gefeiert, die Kinder waren auch begeistert. Die Sauna ist etwas zu klein, aber für uns hat gereicht.

Traumhafter Ausblick mitten in der Natur

Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen und können jedem diese Unterkunft weiterempfehlen! Die Baustelle direkt hinter der Anlage hat (nur!) optisch etwas gestört, jedoch hatten wir dafür in die andere Richtung den schönsten Ausblick überhaupt. Die Unterkunft an sich ist top modern, war absolut süß eingerichtet und super sauber gewesen. Irgendwann werden wir hoffentlich das Tauerndorf wieder besuchen! Eventuell im Hauptbad (mit Sauna) noch ein kleines Waschschränkchen für mehr Stauraum montieren.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus, dass keine Wünsche offen läst. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur war sehr gut und unsere Anliegen wurden immer schnellstmöglich beantwortet. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir haben uns mit Baby und Hund sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war alles vorhanden. Auch als Selbstversorger kommt man auf den Enzingerboden sehr gut zu recht.

Hundeparadies am Stausee

Wir kommen immer wieder gerne zu euch. Hunde sind willkommen und nicht einfach nur geduldet, was uns am wichtigsten ist. Marlene von den Steinbocklodges war jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns sofort geholfen, vielen Dank dafür. Zur Lage, was gibt es schöneres als morgens auf direkt die Berge und einen wunderschönen Stausee zu blicken. Die Reiningungskosten sind leider im Vergleich doch sehr hoch. Wir verlassen die Häuser sowieso immer besenrein. Vielleicht wäre hier eine Option denkbar

Schöner Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge

Sehr schön ist die Lage und die Aussicht. Die Unterkunft ist ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge und Wanderungen. Unsere Anfragen wurden immer sofort beantwortet und die Kommunikation war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Uns wurde immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön und sehenswert. Im Haus war alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Auch Kleinigkeiten wie Toilettenpapier, Seife, Tabs, Müllbeutel und sogar Waschmittel sind vorhanden. Es wäre schön, wenn es einen Messbecher gäbe. Spiegel und Schränke sind teilweise sehr hoch und eher für Menschen über 1.75 m gemacht.

Wunderschöner Wandeurlaub mit Hindernissen

Es war ein wirklich schöner Urlaub in einem sehr schönen Haus in einer wunderschönen Bergwelt. Leider beeinträchtigt die Baustelle am Enzigerboden den Genuss doch erheblich. Es war laut zwischendurch kommen Lieferungen mit Hubschraubern,was natürlich total laut war. Um irgendwo hinzukommen überall traf man auf die Baustelle. Die Menschen dort arbeiten offensichtlich Tag und Nacht, auch das war nicht zu überhören. Und die Sperrung von einigen Wanderwegen war natürlich sehr beeinträchtigend. Das ist super schade weil wir ind diese wunderschöne Gegend erst wieder fahren, wenn nicht mehr gebaut wird. Vorher in der Ausschreibung die Beeinträchtigungen durch die Baustelle deutlich erwähnen.
