The room size, comfy bed, big bathroom, very well appointed. Good amenities. Breakfast could be much better for the price, and it is not included in the daily rate. There were no croissants, little variety of breads and jams, and the coffee comes from a bottle rather than an espresso machine (the coffee is much better that way). The restaurant menu could also be better, with more options. There is no reception; it is at the entrance to the restaurant and consists of someone sitting at the end of a counter serving drinks. Anyway, I imagined the hotel to be a little different, but it is a good hotel.

What an amazing hotel! I stayed here for 6 nights whilst attending a wedding nearby and had the benefit of being upgraded to a suite - the room was fantastic with a very comfortable bed and huge lounging sofa looking out across the harbour. The breakfast was excellent with a huge variety of local Norwegian produce in addition to the classic items. The staff were also very kind and helpful with great tips on local activities and a friendly welcome. I would definitely stay again!
