Overall, the hotel meets the standard expectations of a 4-star chain. The property is well-maintained, and both the valet and restaurant staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
However, the room experience left much to be desired. We are a family of four and booked a connecting room for comfort during our stay. Unfortunately, the room assigned to the adults had serious plumbing issues. The shower was completely clogged, and even when not in use, it would randomly back up, creating a foul smell throughout the bathroom.
When I brought this issue to the front desk (Robert if I’m not mistaken), their only solution was to send a plumber to fix it during our stay — which was the last thing we wanted while on a 4-day vacation with toddlers. Noise, smell, and people working in our room during our holiday is far from ideal.
The concierge informed us there were no other rooms available due to full occupancy and did not offer any alternative solutions or compensation — not even a complimentary breakfast for the inconvenience. His response was essentially: if you don’t want plumbing work happening in your room, then too bad.
Disappointed by the lack of service recovery from a hotel of this caliber. While the staff in certain departments were great, the handling of our room issue left us feeling overlooked and dissatisfied.
