At 1735 meters above sea level, Tschierv is the highest village in altitude in the valley of Val Muestair (Münstertal). The apartment can easily be reached via car or public transportation as it is about 27km from Zernez and 12km from the Italian border. The nearest bus stop is 350 meters from the house. The small village supermarket offers everything for daily use. In the wintertime, this family friendly area is perfect for a winter vacation! The beautiful ski resort "Minschuns" is equipped with 3 ski lifts and a restaurant with a sun terrace that offers breathtaking mountain views, perfect for lunch and coffee breaks. Ski lessons are available to beginners and advanced skiers alike. The ski lifts can be reached either by car (5 minutes driving) or by bus (bus stop is 350 meters from the apartment). The ski run ends virtually at the door steps of the apartment.Other winter activities include several kilometers of cross country skiing tracks as well as ice skating at the ice skating rink in Tschierv village. A lighted toboggan run (sledding) from the village Lü to Tschierv is ideal for family fun after dark. In the summer, kids can swim in the heated outdoor pool operated by the town. Tschierv is therefore the starting point for many biking and hiking tours in the Biosphere Reserve or Swiss National Park. For summer skiers, the resort "Stelvio" can be reached in about 30 minutes by car. The local sports store offers plenty of equipment for rental or purchasing. This cozy two bedroom apartment is located in a 6 apartment house and ideal for 2 people. The house “Chasa Veglia” is a 200 year old renovated house that was used for customs purposes in the old days. East of the building are pastures and the Rom River. The apartment is on the ground floor, off road the Ofenpass- street with a large patio and a pond, overlooking the pastures. Floor heating is throughout the apartment. The bedroom has two single beds, a built-in wardrobe, a wall folding table and two antique chairs. The second bedroom, which is also the main living room, consists of a large antique table with four chairs, a wooden chest for storage, a wardrobe, TV and radio. The couch functions as a double-bed for the night time. The luxurious bathroom with a full tub/shower, toilet and vanity has floor to ceiling “travertine” tile. The kitchen is fully equipped with glass top cooking stove, oven, refrigerator and dishwasher.
