Charming La Fontanelle Cottage near Rodez

Owners of this family home for over a century, we have completely redesigned and renovated La Fontanelle cottage with care to offer you a comfortable and authentic stay.



A former winemaker’s house perched on the heights, the cottage boasts exceptional views over the valley and Marcillac vineyards.



Ideally located, La Fontanelle is the perfect starting point to discover the treasures of Aveyron: cultural, culinary, sports, and outdoor activities, with hiking trails accessible directly from the cottage. Nearby, you’ll find Rodez and the Soulages Museum, Conques on the Camino de Santiago, Salles-la-Source with its famous waterfall, Marcillac-Vallon and its wine, Lake Pareloup, as well as remarkable natural sites like the Tarn Gorges and Montpellier-le-Vieux.



The cottage includes:

Ground floor: living room and kitchen with separate WC, sofa, flat-screen TV, round table and chairs, and a fully equipped kitchen (induction hob, hood, oven/microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, etc.).



First floor: a spacious, bright bedroom with double aspect, King Size bed, coffee table, vintage armchair, dresser, and clothes rack. Ensuite shower room: sink with illuminated mirror, under-sink cabinet, shower cabin with sliding doors, and towel rack. The bedroom has air conditioning.



Outside: large terrace with table and chairs, parasol, and two deckchairs, offering open views over the Marcillac valley.



Practical information: non-smoking cottage. Bed linen and towels included. Cleaning is the guests’ responsibility or available for an extra charge.
