The nearest supermarkets are less than a 10 minute drive (4km) away in the nearby villages of Valleseco and Firgas, although there are more local amenities in Las Palmas, the island's main city, which is a 20 minute drive (22km) away. The distance from "La Acequia" to the airport is 40km and to the main tourist centres in the south of the island 60km. Any tourist attraction in the North, Centre or Cumbres de Gran Canaria can be reached in 30 minutes by car.
