Named after Grand Master Lascaris, this cosy ground floor apartment consists in a spacious 2 bedroom abode full of light and specially accompanied by a reasonably sized decorated courtyard. A brand new comfortably sized kitchen is set in an open plan sitting/dining area stylishly decorated in vibrant yellow and comfy furniture. One of the bedrooms is adorned by a period bed full of light leading to the courtyard whilst the other bedroom is more modern. The spacious bathroom is accessible following the descent of a few steps creating beautiful levelling within the apartment itself. All finishes are carefully and luxuriously implemented with style and personal care. The apartment is part of a characteristic Maltese building consisting of a total of eight apartments. The area, of valuable value, is very convenient. We are located in the Maltese capital, a crossroads of island life. Easily accessible either by car, or by public transport (buses and ferries).

Suite did not match images or description. Unit was dirty with numerous problems. BATHROOM Bathroom in particular was covered in mold in and around the shower and smelled horrible. Shower constantly flooded the entire bathroom floor. Sink constantly leaked onto floor which compounded the problem. Garbage and raw sewage was stored directly outside bathroom window which contributed to smell. I asked for additional toilet paper and was told it would not be provided and that we’d have to purchase our own. Toilet brush was disgusting and covered in brown stains. KITCHEN AND LIVING ROOM Kitchen was covered in dust and mold. Sink was placed in nonsensical location in corner which made washing dishes unwieldy. Living room couch was disgusting and covered in mysterious white stains. The fan in the air conditioning unit in this area was functional but the unit did not produce cold air. Freezer was discolored with mold. Light switches in this room were also covered in mold. BEDROOMS First bedroom was covered in spider webs and areas of exposed wall which revealed rust underneath. Only one functioning outlet in this room which appeared to have caught fire at some point which felt unsafe. Air conditioner in this room did not produce cold air. The door in the second bedroom was improperly aligned and could not be opened all the way. OTHER NOTES Art throughout the unit was ugly, distasteful and poor quality. Location was nice.

Mattress too big for New bed.Door to bedroom would only open enough to squeeze into the bedroom. The door rubbed against the floor.Air conditionersThere are 3 Ac’s in the apartment. All of them not working properly. The AC in the living room/kitchen area blew out air but the temperature controls did not work. This was confirmed by technician sent by the owner. Same in another bed room, but at least it cooled the room unfortunately too much at times. Partial burn out in Plug board with only 2 sockets working affected the AC in other bedroom. Fixed by visiting renter after 4 nights of little or no sleep.WiFiThe modem was NOT switched on. TVTv not working till 5th day. TV channels were world wide news channels, National geographic channel, history channel and one Disney channel.We were told by your technician there was dangerous wiring with regard to the TV.No instructions for washing machine.SecurityThe lock on the inside of the apartment entrance door would not lock thereby causing us to feel a bit unsafe in the apartment.We had to buy kitchen roll to land toilet roll.I am asking for a full refund as I have often used VRbo and Hotel.com especially in America and never experienced anything close to this before. We have had no apology from the owners either.

It was a great value for the money. The apartment was very spacious. We were able to walk almost any place we wanted to go. We felt safe. The bathroom was teeny tiny.
