We like the Avid properties as a rule, but this one is already showing signs of wear in walls & floors in publ8c spaces. Room & breakfast were good tho. Just don't believe google & their rather lengthy list of available restaurants in this town. We visited FIVE & each was closed for Saturday nite dinner service. REALLY Van Horn?????

This was a very clean and modern hotel. It had all of the amenities and the staff was friendly, from check in to housekeeping to breakfast staff.

Hotel is newer. Rooms are decent for the price. Linens are typical hotel issue percale, but clean. The bed is bouncy and a little soft, so if that level of firmness bothers you, then you're at least warned. There is a pet relief area on the southwest corner of the property, which was handy for our pups. If you decide to buy anything from the market, bring your card. They do not accept cash. Overall, it was a nice place to crash after a long day of driving. I would stay here again if we drive through Van Horn again.

We often stay during family visits. But we had a horrible encounter with the gentleman working evening shift. Our Tv and WiFi was not working properly and when we asked for help he was EXTREMELY rude and didn’t resolve our problem. We like to relax and watch tv so that was a huge disappointment:(

Good place in the middle of nowhere

The hotel is fairly new. While the rooms are very basic, they were clean and new. The breakfast, like the rooms was basic, but varied. The coffee was excellent. Staff was friendly. If we were in Van Horn again, we would stay there.
