Room had a musty smell but it may be a. Vancouver thing as I find a lot of hotels smell that way. The tv channels were lacking but that is a minor complaint! Check in was smooth and check out was pleasant.

Nicely renovated queen room we stayed in with laminate flooring. Perfect temperature for air conditioning and great bathroom exhaust fan...doesn't leave you overheated after a shower. Hot breakfast was fantastic, scrambled eggs, hashbrown potatoes and sausage patties plus lots of other options. Easy parking...3 1/2 block walk to skytrain station on Royal Oak. Perfect for concerts...we have stayed here twice now for that reason. Beds are comfy. Def recommend staying here.

The breakfast area is not set up very well - it’s confusing on where to go and where to start. Then you are in everyone’s way when you are waiting for the toast. The seating isn’t really great as there was tons and lots of tables for 6-8 but only 1 person sitting at it. We joined another traveller but I felt there should have been smaller tables offered. There is also limited food offerings and not much available - 1 type of yogurt. I understand it is free but really the cost is added to the stay.

I always stay here when I go to Roger's arena for concerts. I love the proximity to rogers' arena and that I can park my vehicle( I own a huge truck) without the hassle of trying to park at a hotel closer to the arena( never high enough) . The staff are wonderful and the breakfast is amazing!

We stayed 4 nights and had a great experience. There were a few small issues but overall I'd recommend this hotel and would stay again. Pros Clean, comfortable bed, helpful staff, buffet breakfast included, close to Skytrain, a variety of restaurants in walking distance, good parking, good amount of power outlets, good wifi Cons Bathroom door sticks if closed all the way, mini fridge buzzed loudly all night, low water pressure in shower. Amenities: Mini fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, Pharmacopia Citrus toiletries, TV with basic cable, mini wall safe, outdoor pool, laundry room, ice machine

Overall, my experience is fine. Plus sides: Room is clean daily, staff are nice and accommodating. Complimentary breakfast was a perk, and foods are fresh. They have a gym, a pool and wifi works well. Down sides, our room seem to be updated and remodeled but feel like they tried to conserve as much as possible. Limited toiletries, towels old and frayed but smell fresh. Water pressure for both shower and toilet were at the minimum. If going #2, you have to wait a minute or so to flush it a few times. No hair blow dryer. The hotel is on a major street so it gets traffic noise and especially when emergency vehicles going by, but it is also easy access to buses and walking distance to shopping malls and eateries.
