A busy area. The bus stop in front attracts an assortment of folks more interested in alcohol than rides. Once inside all is fine, and the doors are controlled. Nice staff.
first person i interfaced was rude, after her nothing but nice people. Sketchy neighborhood, small room

Room was clean, staff very helpful-
East side is not the best location but just to sleep it’s all good.
Supermarket in front and easy uber ride everywhere.

Great room, great staff and affordable price. A bit noisy due to the traffic so will request a room towards the back of the hotel next time. Love the retro style of the place, high ceilings, proper key. We didn’t really explore the area around it as we only slept the one night after a concert. Would definitely stay again.
The hotel is situated in a bad area of town. There was significant noise into the rooms from party downstairs. Beds were uncomfortable.
Do not recommend.
Lots of homeless people around this area ,I took the bus to go to the hotel
And I saw the few stress of blocks full of of homeless people on the streets

The overall stay was good. I’ll start with the things that were bad then list the good.
The beds were uncomfortable and need to be updated.
The bathtub/shower needed to be caulked again because the one in our room was molded and was coming off.
The pictures need updated .
We had dinner in the restaurant attached to the hotel and a mouse ran under our table. No one was concerned.
Good things
Close to public transportation.
Close to nice little places to eat breakfast.
On the last day the lady at the front desk was very helpful and friendly.
The hotel is a older one but it was very clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful.
They have a hotel attached to the restaurant.
There are places close by for breakfast and lunch.
There are stores across the street and Little Italy is a few blocks away.
The hotel hosted a rave in their basement where everyone was very inappropriately dressed and loud music shook our room until 2 am and we weren’t told about it until after I had paid for the room
Run don’t walk! Second worse hotel I ever stayed at. The area is not the safest number one. The hotel is old and rundown. Furniture is from the 70’s and chips and scratches are everywhere. Noisy like crazy. Played loud music until 2 o’clock in the morning every night from the club next door. Nowhere to plug your devices. No breakfast available and only two so so restaurants around the area for breakfast. They barely did any housekeeping and I needed to tell them to leave towels and coffee and whitener everyday. Came back from the day out one day to find the bed unmade. Don’t waste your money. Spend a bit more and go somewhere else. This hotel really sucked and I’ve stayed at lots of hotels over the years. We were there for 4 nights. Very disappointing. Would never recommend or return!
Surprisingly nice hotel but bring your earplugs
Secret gem not very known because if its location. Very safe, the dangerous area of Hasting is 6 blocks away towards Main Street. Very nice staff, hotel well renovated. There is a dollar store and Supermarket right in front and bus stop as well. Its by no means a ritz carlton but its a nice hotel for a fair price. I would return again. If you are staying the weekend or during some of the events in the bar below, you need ear plugs. If you are a light sleeper this is not the hotel for you.

If you just need a bed to spend the night in before your cruise departs the next day, this place does the job. It’s old and run down and the bar/club downstairs has the noise level way too high until after 2:00 am. Their website was clear ahead of time that that would be the case, but we didn’t get a chance to day we wanted a room away from the noise. If I have to spend the night in Vancouver again, I’ll do it someplace else.
The staff were fantastic. The hotel is dated but perfectly adequate. The only negative is the proximity to East Hastings street which is a no go area. I booked because the price was far less than central Vancouver and spent the difference on taxi fares to avoid the homeless drug addicts
