The Belmont is exactly as the pictures show. It’s a great boutique hotel and the staff are lovely. My only comment is noticing that the sound / walls and floor is thin. I was woken up due to whoever was staying on the floor above me and heavy footing… I’m also intrigued to know it’s my 2nd time for short stay in Vancouver as to why the hotels frost the windows even if it’s looking across an alley to the building opposite. I understand about privacy but sometimes you still want to feel a bit of the environment around you. Other than that loved it.

Stellar service and convenient location

Very friendly staff and super helpful whenever we had a question or needed something. The room was clean and comfortable and we felt very safe with the front doors needing to be opened with our keycards at night and always having some male staff at the front desk. The location was very convenient and great selection of restaurants within walking distance. We had a wonderful experience here and will keep it in mind for future Vancity trips.

Good location easy to get the Big Bus around town. Room was comfortable but no overhead lights to help with packing. Liked the retro refrigerator but not so much the dark striped overhead. Breakfast was good but 2 and day not hot eggs or sausage.

2 night stay prior to cruise the hotel provided a clean and comfortable room, convenient to explore downtown Vancouver and to the cruise terminal. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The staff were Wonderful and the room was clean and well appointed. It also felt so great to walk into a well air conditioned room at the end of the day. Unfortunately, we were not advised that the restaurant was closed when we booked, so that was quite disappointing.

Nice hotel and service in a downtown area plagued by staggering addicts some with syringes still sticking in their bodies collapsed on the sidewalk. homeless living and defecating on the sidewalks. Sad statement of a society that condones and supports this lifestyle. Definitely won’t go back there because of the city, no fault of the hotel

If you are single female travellers it will be better to avoid staying in this area. From Granville bridge enter the downtown there are homeless/ drug users on the side of the street. The hotel room is small and worn out. However staff are nice and helpful.

The property was convenient for the activities I had planned. I like to stay in unique places when I travel. I'm american so the rooms were smaller than what we are use to in the US, but this was expected and wasn't a problem for me.

The staff was amazing. Very nice very accommodating It was just the room was a little tight and we couldn't get the air correct. It was incredibly humid and the sheets were damp. We actually left. They did not offer us a refund.

Great choice for a few days before cruising

Great hotel! Lots of great places to eat close by and within walking distance to the waterfront and Yaletown area. Would definitely stay again when in town.

For over $600 to spend one night at this hotel, we expected much more. Hotel room was cramped. The bathroom was clean and updated. The rest of the room was below par. Would not recommend this hotel. Especially for the amount we paid.

The area around this hotel is dirty and clearly a nightlife area with multiple strip clubs, many unhoused people, broken bottles on the sidewalk. The hotel is closed off and difficult to find the entrance. The restaurant/bar pictured looked non-operational with bars on the entrance. This is not a family friendly option, better for youn single travelers looking for a deal. The room was clean but very small. The bathroom was decent with nice toiletries.
