We enjoyed our stay at Seaside, travelling as a couple for a city getaway. The surrounding Shipyards area is fantastic, with many options for dining and shopping. The hotel was lovely, the staff very friendly and attentive. My only observation, and it wasn’t a dealbreaker because we didn’t spend much time in the room, was the fact the windows looked directly out to a neighbouring condo, and into their living spaces! Such is high density living I guess! All in all, a great spot.

Location on the harbour was excellent. Wonderful seaside views and walks. Very short walk to Sea Bus through the Market area. Breakfasts were beautifully presented and outstanding. Comfortable breakfast area and sofas by a fireplace. Pretty dining room with lots of windows. Can’t comment on dinners as I didn’t have any, but expect they’d be excellent. My room was very comfortable with all needed amenities and good-size bright bathroom (shower only). I would love to return to this hotel. As I did not have a car I cannot comment on parking.

Great location but parking can be difficult. Found the reception desk in the restaurant loud and too small to handle the crowds. The scent was also overwhelming. Not being able to move the iPad meant it wasn't accessible and neither was the door from the parking garage to the elevator. I found the staff at the front desk not very friendly or helpful the two times I asked for assistance.

I requested a room with Vancouver’s bay and hotel provided the exact opposite of my request, I made a call to the property two days before my trip and asked if I could check in by 12:30 pm , my checking time was 3:40 pm , even though I gave my phone number so the hotel can call me, they never called to note that my room is ready, so I walked around the property and killed 3 hours before I could get into my room
