Great breakfast. Weird placement of light switches, couldn’t at first figure out the faucets. Difficult building entry as area covered in bollards especially if you are loaded down with luggage. Otherwise a lovely hotel with great valets.

Staff were excellent. Pet-friendly amenities were amazing. Our room was near the elevator which was a bit noisy, especially with party goers returning to the floor at around 3 am. If there’s a way to improve noise cancellation in rooms, that would be great.

From airport so easy to get to hotel via 20minutes on Canada line then 15 minutes by sea ferry across the Burrard inlet. Train ticket allows free ferry as long as you connect within 1 hour of purchase. Hotel is short 5 minute walk from ferry. Hotel is ideally located in a rejuvenated area of the old shipyards. Nice restaurants, bistros, markets etc!

The bathrooms do not have a ceiling fan (vent only) and results in long time to defog mirrors etc. Water bottles had a terrible taste. Tap was was FAR SUPERIOR! No options for hard or sof pillows.

The staff at the Seaside are attentive and friendly; When I had a concern about the room the first night, manager Jason was so thorough and made sure any potential issues were looked into. Would recommend some better lighting in the room for reading, but otherwise Highly recommend!
