Sonesta ES Suites by the Vancouver Mall has wonderful, well laid out rooms with most of the conveniences of home, at an attractive price point. The property has been recently renovated so our rooms were fresh and inviting. I like properties that have a refrigerator with a freezer unit that allows me to refreeze ice packs to keep our chill food in good shape on a road trip. Staff were uniformly outstanding.

I was not able to check in and could not get an actual person with Expedia so I never actually checked in for my stay at Sonesta. The front desk people were no help whatsoever because I booked through Expedia and not directly through Sonesta so I was screwed both ways. I will never book through Expedia again nor ever stay at a Sonesta hotel/motel.
