no complaints about facility.but staff needs education on socail skills.
i arrived early in BC (2:30pm they tried to accomodate me and upgraded my room but the room was not ready at that time- which was OK coz i had an appointment to go to. Upon returning the room was still not ready and i told the man in front desk the room was not ready, he was NOTvery friendly at all and responded "WHO SAID IT IS NOT READY? etc etc and instead of getting more info he was coming on very rude-it was to a point that i told him to check the room himself and I am the one telling him that the room is NOT ready!
i noticed the second person there was the lady who checked us in initially and informed her that the room was not ready and we will be back later anyway and she went ahead and gave us another room- eventually
The man DID apologize for his behaviour and i was willing to just let it go and give the benefit of doubt that it was a language / communication barrier. But this morning on our way to breakfast , there was this old scruffy looking man entering the hotel and the lady at the front desk just raised her voice and said "WHERE ARE YOU GOING?" the man responded - i am i room 324-- obviously she presumed he was not a guest hotel. It is disappointing to see this kind of attitude and behaviour. we should treat each other as a HUMAN BEING regardless of how they are dressed.
