Property was largely as advertised, the view was great. Air conditioning was room units that were noisy and vented through the window inefficiently. The second bedroom "window" had fallen into the room so warm air rushed in instead of cooling. A/C was required because it was too noisy outside to open the windows. Even with the windows closed the trains and street noise were loud. The unit was superficially clean but really needs a thorough cleaning and update. There was rust/mold on the tile grout and the washer had black mold on the door gasket, probably from being closed after use instead of left open to dry. The kitchen did not have the coffee maker as pictured, the coffee filters were the wrong size, and although we didn't expect to "cook", there were no measuring spoons or cups. While the building was advertised as secure, there were clearly many people who did not live there full time, and we would not have traveled in the neighborhood after dark, even walking to the train there were "unhoused" people and we did not feel safe. Overall it was a convenient location, the train and grocery and drugstore nearby. Vancouver is a great city with much to see and do. Mass transit was inexpensive and efficient.
