The location is very strategic in this beautiful and romantic town, because is just a few steps from the lake, the characteristic beach of "Molo di sotto", the famous and picturesque "Riva Grande", the romantic “lake promenade” and also very nearby to the main tourist attractions, restaurants, shops, bars and cafes.

This flat has been completely renovated on 2015, with high quality materials and refined furnishings. The main colors are white, grey and beige to give guests an atmosphere of relax and cuddles. The flat is on the second (and last) floor in an house of few units. It consists of entrance, living room with kitchenette and sofa bed, 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a loft and 2 balconies with view on the main square and the church.



Sweet Square flat is an elegant and refined accommodation fully and newly furnished with everything for an independent stay. The Sweet Square flat is equipped with dining table, chairs, bookcases, sofa bed, 2 double beds, wardrobes; and also TV, Wifi, Air condition, dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine, refrigerator, oven, dishes, glasses, hairdryer, washing machine and all the necessary for the complete use. The first bathroom, with window, is equipped with sink, shower, toilet and bidet. The second (and private) bathroom is equipped with sink and toilet.

Lost power and bad customer service

Overall, I would not rent this property or from Varenna Holiday again. The check in process is not the smoothest since you have to go to their office to check in and out (at specific times). They only give you one key to the property. There were also only 4 towels provided (even though we had 2 adults and 3 children) and no extra sheets/blankets/pillows. All of this was not a big deal and could be overlooked; however, on our last night there was a big storm and we lost power around 7:30pm and the host was completely unhelpful in resolving the issue. I messaged and called the host while I still had internet (no WiFi since the power was out). But only received the response of there was nothing that could be done we just needed to follow the instructions in the manual. My husband and I both followed step my step the instructions left and the power was still not restored. The host did nothing to resolve the power issue until 8:00am when we were checking out. To make matters worse, blamed us for the lack of power and for not following the instructions correctly. But never offered any assistance last night. I would never rent from them again as it doesn’t appear they care at all what the guest experience is and are unwilling to assist in a timely fashion.

Varenna Family Vacation

Amazing location in Piazza S. Giorgio. Clean and equipped with all the essentials. Perfect place for our family of five - two of our teenage daughters shared a room, and our oldest slept on the pull-out. Definitely would go back.

Beautiful apartment, great location

The photos don’t do the apartment justice. Comfortable beds, spacious, clean and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Very convenient location off the main square. Only issue is church bells ringing at 7am! Be aware there’s no elevator so you need to carry luggage up two floors.

Pros:Place was fine for our group of 4. Met our requirements. Location was great. Neat remote control of skylights. Safe and quiet (although you will have church bells going - which I was fine with). We had fun visit Cons: Shower stall leaked onto bathroom floor (shower drain pan & caulk issue). Caulk staining around shower. Kitchen was not loaded with pots/pans if you wanted to do your own cooking, Television and remote were subpar. Furniture was worn and dated.

Perfect for our family!

We loved this flat! It’s steps away from the water, shops, restaurants, a small grocery store, and the town center. It was our home base for 3 days and couldn’t have been better. Super clean, easy to do laundry and easy check in and out. The only thing I’d recommend is if you’re checking in late ask ahead of time for walking directions to the flat! Enjoy!!

Perfect Location

Very roomy, clean, convenient flat. All appliances worked well. Kitchen well equipped. Sarah & Francesca very helpful & prompt in responding to email inquiries. Flat in the heart of Varenna but on a quiet side street. Only caveat: flat is on third floor & not elevator. But stairs wide & have sturdy banister. We’d rent flat again.

Modern, clean and spacious in a great location.

Very impressed with the apartment. It looks better in person than in the photos. It’s on a top floor and has a remote powered skylight in the living room and master bedroom. It’s a super bright little apartment which was recently renovated. Owners were easy to deal with.
