Welcome to Villa Junquillal, a bright and breezy 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom beach condo just a short walk from the sand. Set in a peaceful gated community of only eight villas, this cozy retreat offers comfort, privacy, and tropical charm—perfect for families, couples, or small groups.
With sleeping space for up to 6 guests and all the essentials for a comfortable stay, Villa Junquillal is your ideal beachside home base.

We give guests full privacy during their stay but are available if you need anything or want local tips. Just send us a message—we’re happy to help make your visit relaxing and easy.

Villa Junquillal is located in a quiet, secure community near Playa Junquillal, one of Costa Rica’s most beautiful and uncrowded beaches.

In just a few minutes, you can walk to the beach for morning strolls, swimming, or sunset watching. A short drive brings you to local restaurants, a grocery store, and several surf breaks in the area. It's the perfect balance of nature, convenience, and local flavor—without the crowds.

Guests have full private access to the condo and shared access to the beautifully maintained pool area and grounds. Parking for one car is available on-site. You’ll receive check-in instructions in advance for a smooth arrival, and our local team is nearby in case you need anything during your stay.

Very clean, quiet place to relax. Short walk to beaches. Great beach-combing. This was our second time to this location. Everything was great. The pool is large for an eight unit complex.

Villa with a lovely View

Villa was very nice and clean. Views were wonderful- lots of birds and monkeys in the trees! Lovely local spots for dinner and beach views were great! We enjoyed Lola’s on the beach and Black Stallion Ranch. 40 minute drive to Tamarindo where shops and restaurants were more touristy- The road to get to secluded villa was very rough, so definitely need 4x4. Unfortunately, we could hear loud music all hours of the night coming from outside the complex. Made it hard to sleep. Overall we had a nice time.

Wonderful hidden gem

What a wonderful hidden gem with lots of amenities. Great views. Short walk to beach. Beautiful sunsets. Awesome pool for spending afternoons. Highly recommended and will be back!

Our week in Junquillal

Really enjoyed our stay at the Villa Venado Condos. Very quiet and relaxing. Enjoyed meeting our neighbor who is a full time resident. Pool was sparkling clean and well maintained, although all the pool lounge chairs are in need of replacing. The grounds were nice with lots of shade trees offering space for a variety of birds to watch. The walk or drive to the beach was short and easy. The beach was large and spacious with surprisingly few people walking there. Loved the large outdoor upstairs deck where we had most of our meals, and could lounge in the shade.

Awesome spot. Isolated but close to untouched shoreline and uninhabited beaches. Killer fresh fish daily. Turtle releases often as well!
