Shambalah Deluxe Suite is a romantic, luxurious one bedroom retreat with its own private pool, built inside a completely renovated horse stable. The build was finished in December 2023. It is a rare thing: you sleep where the horses once did, with the paddocks and orchards of Finca Shambalah just outside the door.

Ideal for couples. Comfortable for 2 guests, 4 maximum.

THE SUITE
• Bedroom with a hotel quality king bed and linens provided
• Sofa bed in the living area
• Private pool overlooking the horses, who come right up to the terrace
• Indoor and outdoor shower with a view
• Equipped kitchen
• One bathroom

THE ESTATE
The suite sits on a 5 hectare (12.4 acre) equestrian estate, set within a 30 hectare organic farm. Guests are free to walk the grounds and meet the animals.

• Riding lessons, beach rides and mountain trails, arranged on request and booked separately from your stay
• Organic farm with fruit trees, chickens and goats

THE LOCATION
Playa Lagartillo is a 10 minute walk. Playa Avellanas is 5 minutes by car, Playa Negra 10 minutes, and Hacienda Pinilla 10 minutes. Tamarindo, the main town for restaurants and activities, is roughly 25 minutes, and Liberia International Airport is an hour and a half.

Taxis are scarce in this part of Guanacaste, so we recommend renting a car.

The suite and pool are entirely private for your stay, and the wider estate and farm are yours to explore. Finca Shambalah is home to only a small number of private residences, so the property stays quiet and uncrowded.
