Holiday

We requested a canal view and received a stunning room over looking the canal and the main water by the bus station. It is a 5 min walk from the bus station, so no need for a water taxi or a porter. We had a beautiful room, nice and comfortable. Lots of plug sockets.

Decent hotel in a good arrival/departure spot

Very nice hotel entrance, on the canal, close to the entrance to Venice and friendly, helpful staff member on hand straight away. Well decorated as you walk in. We were early for check in and given the option to use the 'garden room', the newest built and quite cosy room on the ground floor. We took as were keen to settle in but hard to tell what it was like in comparison to the other rooms. Room was very clean and modern, however felt more like an English B&B room. Was cosy, with little space to move around the bed/put the luggage down. Location was fine for Feb when no one uses the garden for breakfast yet but can imagine it would be noisy when rest of the hotel do use the garden space. Lacked natural light with a very small window that had privacy windows. But otherwise comfortable. Breakfast was a good spread and service very efficient and helpful. Only thing to be improved was a bit more fresh produce would have been nice.

Perfect location

Within short walking distance of the bus station and situated just off the Grand Canal down a quiet backwater. Lovely reasonably priced restaurants just a few 100 yards away. The hotel reception and lounge was smart and elegant and the reception staff very helpful. Breakfast was a really good continental with a lot of choice and piping hot coffee and the waitress was lovely and friendly. We had a few problems with mosquitos and the hotel even offered us a spray to kill them off.

Anniversary break

Comfortable, conveniently placed, room 332 overlooked the Grand Canal - excellent. 25 minute walk to Rialto and San Marco Friendly and helpful staff Would definitely go back

Angenehme und moderne Unterkunft, die zu empfehlen ist. Einzig das WLAN ist eher schwach, aber es funktioniert bei der Reseption aber gut.

Gutes zentrales Hotel

Pros: Gutes Frühstück und die gute zentrale Lage
Unmittelbar am Platz de Roma gelegenes Hotel, gut geeignet für einen Venedig Bummel, aber auch für Kreuzfahrer

Lage super, Personal super, Zimmer leider abgenutzt

Der Empfang an der Reception war sehr freundlich, man war sehr hilfsbereit bei Fragen, hat uns auch gleich das gewünschte Konzert gebucht, Tipps fürs Essen gegeben. Leider bekamen wir ein sehr abgenutztes Zimmer (114), das uns sehr enttäuscht hatte. Frühstücksraum ist sehr klein, das Frühstück: Durchschnittlich. Aber schliesslich ist es ja auch ein *** Hotel. Wir haben uns geschworen, in Venedig nur noch **** oder ***** zu buchen, das lohnt sich allemal, wenn man etwas Comfort wünscht. Jedem das Seine, - wir hatten trotzdem wunderbare Tage in Venedig!!
