Great place to stay

Comfortable well appointed accommodation in a fabulous location and excellent communication with a lovely owner. The property could benefit from some sun loungers and parasols or some form of shade around the pool, that aside it’s faultless and I would recommend.

Perfect family escape in Bordeaux

What an amazing home- we enjoyed our stay here so much that we extended our holiday to be there longer. The house has everything you need- an exceptionally well stocked kitchen with high quality appliances and crockery. The outdoor pool was perfect and super safe for small children with its pool alarm and fence. The living space was open, comfortable and easy to clean. Everything from the stylish interior to the home cinema set up and fully equipped with toys and games was incredibly thoughtful. And to round it off- it’s set on a vineyard with the most beautiful wine- we enjoyed several bottles and brought one home as a souvenir. We were so thrilled to holiday here and hope to return soon.

Wonderful!

Charming rustic cottage, we loved our stay. Plenty of space for a large family or two families of 4. Lovely living area and everything you need is on hand. The pool is a good size, fresh (not heated) but in August was around 23-25 degrees. Pool is ideal for age 6 upwards (and can swim) as no shallow end - though large steps to hang out on if they are younger! A large trampoline for the kids too. Beds are comfortable and fans in each room - which we didn’t need as it’s lovely and cool inside the house. Stairs up to the first floor are a little on the steep side but didn’t cause an issue, even for my 83 year old MIL. We particularly enjoyed all the outside living space - and a small terrace with a view of the vines at the back. It allowed everyone to have their own space which was ideal. The host was very responsive and friendly with perfect English. We were able to check in early and I would highly recommend a stay here. Great instructions sent in advance on what is available in the area. Only 35 mins from the airport, 20 mins from a huge supermarket and 20 mins to a manmade beach and inflatable assault course! Many thanks David, we had a very happy holiday

Une belle semaine de vacances

Maison très agréable pour un séjour dans le bordelais. Très bien équipée. Chambres spacieuses, cuisine très fonctionnelle. De beaux espaces intérieurs mais aussi extérieurs. Terrain agréable avec une piscine et une tonnelle ombragée pour manger. La maison était très propre. Nous n’avons pas rencontré les propriétaires mais avons été bien reçus par une autre personne. Merci pour le cadeau de bienvenue, nous avons bien dégusté le bon vin du domaine. Un super séjour avec un temps magnifique. En axe d’amélioration, il faudrait prévoir plus de parasols à côté de la piscine et revoir les abords de celle-ci car on met plein d’herbe quand on sort et rentre dedans. La route est assez passante à côté de la maison. Cela ne nous a pas trop dérangé mais il faut le préciser.

Une semaine très agréable, une très jolie maison fonctionnelle dans un cadre viticole charmant. Le vin du propriétaire est à déguster. Petit bémol : la proximité de la route pour le bruit quand on est autour de la piscine. Une adresse à recommander .

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end de l ascension .

Nous étions 6 adultes et 2 enfants. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour. La maison est confortable, bien équipée . Les chambres et les pièces de vie sont spacieuses. La météo nous a permis de profiter de l extérieur et de la piscine. Le domaine est bien situé près de libourne St Emilion etc. ..Enfin nous avons été bien accueilli par Mr VALLET. Urlaub auf dem Land

Wir (5 Erwachsene + 3 Kinder) waren für zwei Wochen im August in diesem traditionellen Anwesen. Zur Begrüßung - bei über 30 °C Außentemperatur - sprangen unsere Kinder - in den erfrischenden Pool. Aufgrund geringer Nachttemperaturen und der am Nachmittag im Schatten befindlichen Lage war der Pool in der nachfolgenden Zeit maximal 21 °C warm. Die Männer sind trotz allem täglich darin schwimmen gegangen. Das Haus bietet ausreichend Platz, bequeme Betten sowie eine moderne Küche mit allem nötigen Zubehör. Ein größerer Sonnenschirm für die Terrasse wäre schön. Die Einweisung durch den Vermieter war umfassend und sehr zuvorkommend. Bei einer privaten Weinverkostung mit Kellerführung erzählte uns David noch mehr über die Historie und Philosophie des Weinguts. Leider waren die anderen Chateaus in der Umgebung nicht besetzt - im Urlaub? - sodass eine spontane Verkostung lokalen Weins nur im wunderschönen und äußerst empfehlenswerten Weinmuseum in Bordeaux möglich war. Der Besuch von Bordeaux ist immer eine Reise wert, wir waren viermal vor Ort und haben längst nicht alle Geheimnisse und Besonderheiten erfahren. Man muss sich vorher bewusst sein, dass die Anreise zu möglichen touristischen Zielen ein wenig Zeit kostet und die Straßen für deutsche Verhältnisse gewöhnungsbedürftig sind (70 km/h an Siedlungen, enge und huckelige Straßenführungen). Zu unserem Leidwesen waren auch viele Bäckereien vor Ort im Sommermodus. FAZIT: Wer Bordeaux und seine Weingegend noch nicht kennt oder (mit 1,5 h Anfahrt) den Atlantik und die beeindruckende "dune du pilat" kennen lernen möchte, der ist im Ferienhaus von Valerie und David genau richtig. Wir können die Unterkunft ausdrücklich empfehlen und freuen uns, einen weiteren Landesteil von Frankreich ein bisschen besser kennen gelernt zu haben.

Calme et spacieux

Séjour agréable, grand terrain pour les enfants, avec jeux à disposition. La piscine est agréable et ombragée aux heures chaudes. La maison offre toutes les commodités dont on a besoin au quotidien. Les chambres sont spacieuses, chacune équipée d'un dressing de rangement. La pièce de vie accueille facilement 8 personnes autour de la table. David est très arrangeant, en terme d'arrivée/départ, et disponible durant le séjour si besoin. Nous recommandons sa location et également son vin 😁.

Toller Urlaub mit eigenem Pool

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen, interessanten und erholsamen Urlaub in der Domaine. Das Haus ist sehr stilvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung, vor allem der Küche, ist sehr umfangreich und ideal für Selbstversorger (Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine, Backofen, moderner Herd, große Kühl- und Gefrierkombi, viel Geschirr, Bücher, Spiele, Spielekonsole...). Der Garten mit dem Pool ist traumhaft und uneinsehbar. Unsere Kinder haben dort stundenlang gespielt (es gibt auch ein großes Trampolin). Der Pool ist durch einen Zaun und eine Alarmanlage gesichert, man hat ihn zur alleinigen Nutzung. Der Garten ist ebenfalls komplett umzäunt. Die Domaine befindet sich inmitten von Weinbergen. Ein Auto ist sinnvoll, um die vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Region zu erkunden (Libourne, Festung in Bleye, die Dordogne mit der Gezeitenwelle sowie die Küste des Atlantiks (z. B. dune du pilat) (ca. 1 Autostunde). Die Vermieter Valérie und David Vallet stehen mit Informationen stets zur Verfügung, sind sehr gut erreichbar und sehr freundlich. Wir haben ihren köstlichen Wein wie auch die Führung durch das Weingut sehr genossen. Nach zwei Wochen auf dem Anwesen waren wir total zufrieden und erholt.
