Our room was dirty, with visible dirt and sticky patches on the floor, grime on the walls and stained curtains. It also smelled overwhelmingingly like mildew. There was also a high pitch loud whistling sound all night from the wind outside so we did not sleep well.

I got a room at the 1st floor, I couldn’t sleep until 3am, they had loud music until 2:00 am , had to stand the noise now , of the chairs and tables when they were put away, the music came from I called front desk but they said hotel was booked, so couldn’t get a different room, next morning (Sunday) they gave me another room. The reason of my trip was to participate in a marathon Sunday morning, so I had to go running with only 2. Hours of sleep !!!

Parking is an issue. You need somebody from staff with a special key to operates the elevators from parking lot to front desk. If nobody is available you need to get your lugagge all the way thru the stairs. Looks like that the same person is the valet parking and bell boy

Excellent breakfast buffet! I enjoyed delicious Veracruz-style picadas with black beans, pork rinds, and red sauce, prepared by the cook; very artisanal, despite being in a hotel. I'd love to know her name to write it down, but I made sure to tip her well for her service. The entire restaurant staff also provided excellent service despite the crowded restaurant. Also my wife loved the front beach locations near the Historic down town.
