Even though it was the dead of winter, I booked two rooms for a traveling companion and myself since we would need to spend one night in Yankton. The place looked kinda 'campy' and set on what appeared to be a gorgeous lake. What a nice surprise! First, because it was the off-season, we were booked into two three bedroom cabins! Way overkill for our needs but such a 'come-back' vibe! The rooms and bathroom were cozy and spotless - the kitchen equally so. Gosh, I so want to plan a trip back there this summer. Five minutes from town and loads of fun restaurants and bars. What a great place!
