Best views in Vernazza.

The tower is located at one of the highest points in Vernazza, so be prepared for a good workout coming and going to the property. Pack light! Once there, the views are breathtaking and the property is very cozy. There are many creature comforts, including small kitchen, refrigerator, and WiFi. The center of town with restaurants and bars is very close and the property is also very close to the entrance of the blue trail. The extra bedrooms are better for older kids as they’re up steep ladders and don’t have separate bathrooms.

If you are looking for an amazingly unique and very memorable stay this is the place for you. This is an old refurbished tower right on the Cinque Terre walkway starting from Vernazza to Corniglia. The finishings were eclectic/charming. The views were breathtaking. The rooms are accessed up a ladder bunk style within the tower. We will will forever remember this fascinating place. I removed 2 points because there is no air conditioning and it was unbearably hot. We had to sleep with the windows and doors wide open which was LOUD with church bells in the morning, parties at night, and people on the trail at all hour. The place ended up full of bugs/mosquitoes. We didnt have good sleeps. Also the accessibility of upper beds is awkward. You need to be agile/mobile and not have to pee in the night! We didn't use the kitchen so I can't speak to this. We used the table to store our luggage/clothing. Accessing this place requires dragging luggage up a LOT of steps. We were sweaty. But we went to Cinque Terre fit and expecting to hike stairs so no points lost here! If you are staying during a cooler time and have zero mobility issues this will be a good accommodation.

King of Vernazza

Most amazing place we stayed in Italy! Vernazza is totally the best place to stay in all of the Cinque Terre area. We stayed during the summer when tourist season is at a high. Most all other properties was booked. We splurged and booked this historic tower to make it a little more fun for the whole family. We didn’t want to leave! I can’t put into words how beautiful it was right out the front door. You feel like the king of Vernazza staying here. We hope to do it again some day. The property management service was super nice and friendly. Be sure to ask for help with your bags. It costs per bag but well worth the help if you have luggage. Don’t miss this opportunity. You won’t regret it!

A wonderful and unique place to stay. It's more comfortable than we expected, at least for a couple (a bigger group will need to use the beds upstairs which are accessible via ladders). The views are incredible. The people on the path were less of an issue than we expected from other comments here. The residence itself is completely private. The main terrace outside is visible from the path above in principle but you're not the main focus of attention. The views from everywhere are incredible. The walk up is shorter than we expected. Cinque Terre Rivera were responsive and helpful. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat.
