Booked a self contained room with kitchen due to one of our party having coeliac disease and wanting to cook for ourselves. The kitchen didn't even have the bare minimum. There were 3 forks, 2 knives, 4 teaspoons, no desert spoons, no kettle ,no toaster and very little crockery. There was no sharp knife for preparing vegetables. I had to use a large meat knife to prepare food. The cutlery was dirty, as was the used sponge and one of the drawers. The kitchen felt grubby. The kitchen cupboards were far too high for me to reach anything. I have to get my husband to reach whatever I needed. The room was not fit for purpose and I suggest ,if it cannot be done properly, it shouldn't be done at all. When we arrived at The Best Western we were very tired after a long drive and were expecting better. It wasn't cheap. We have stayed in several of these types of rooms with a kitchen. all of them have been excellent apart from The Best Western.

The hotel is new and room is very clean. However, there's something for improvement. 1. Only 2 towels in the room when we checked in for 3 guests. 2. Didn't provide extra towels after mentioned there's only 2. 3. Stated no pet when booking but extra pet fee showed up when checking in, and had to ask to make corrections.

Staff and hotel were very nice. I had to ask for tissues in the room as the box was empty, I had to move the fridge plug to a different outlet as the one it was plugged in to didn't work. There was a sports team booked into my floor and there was a lot of door slamming, laughing and running in the hallways and general noise throughout my stay and late in the evenings.

We were visiting the okanagan for the May long weekend. Originally had planned to stay in Kelowna however hotels were upwards of $1500-$1800 for three nights for a pet friendly stay. The BW Premier on Vernon was 1/3 the cost making it worth the hassle of having to drive down to Kelowna to visit family. We stayed with our two little dogs in a king suite. It was clean, spacious, we had a small kitchen area with a anpartment full size fridge and 2 burner built in hotplate and microwave. Small kitchen sink annd the bathroom was large with an 6 or maybe 8 foot walk in shower. The best part is the entire hotel seems to be pet friendly not just a few rooms on one floor. Each morning our dogs got to make new friends while entering and exiting the elevators and in the common areas of the hotel. Staff was some of the friendliest I’ve encountered and I stay in probably 10-15 hotels each year. We will 100% stay here again. I don’t always remember to write reviews but this stand out stay deserved a great one.
