I think this place was in the middle of a transition. The staff was nice for the most part and gave me everything I needed. I gave it a 3 stars because of few things that will need improvements.
1.) The AC in the room kept leaking water, which soaked into the carpets. I knew the carpets felt a bit off when I stepped on it. It was moist and I didn't know where it was coming from.
2.) Carpets are old, and they smell bad. Either from the water leaking from the ac or due to it just being old, regardless the entire inn's carpet need to be replaced. I stayed in the second floor for 6 days.
3.) The pool was not usable because it was not clean. There are trees near the pool area, several of them and, I seen leafs and small twigs in the pool. I would recommend remove the trees or trim them so the leafs don't fall into the pool/ branches & twigs.
4.) Bathroom had vents, but there was no switch to turn them on.
5.) Bathroom lock was broken. I did mention this to the staff, however it was not urgent because I was staying alone, but would be ideal to get it fixed. Specifically room 254.
Overall I think my stay was okay enough. Wasn't perfect but wasn't bad either. Staff was mostly nice. If I needed something they provided it to me, such as extra towels, blow dryer, comb etc. Place needs quite a bit of maintenance and renovations done before accepting guests. Breakfast could be a little better but wasn't so bad.
