Great Stay at Ocean Breeze Inn

The oceanfront hotel room was spacious and clean. The room has modern decor with faux wood flooring. The closet and bathroom were very suitable and typical of current hotels. The entrance to the rooms is an open walkway, and there was an elevator if needed. The restaurant on site offered indoor and outdoor seating and was a great breakfast spot and the bar had plenty of TVs for football watching.

Couldn't find my reservation, paid for King bed but had to take a queen instead because supposedly Expedia over booked them Looks like someone threwup from the balcony above mine and let it drip onto mine. The flooring in the room felt sandy from the moment we first entered the room. I would expect that if I had brought it in on my shoes, but we came from parking to the room. My opinion would be some type of mat at the door entrance, inside so wind doesn't blow them away. Not any fault of the hotel, but people in next room came in late, were loud and opened/closed sliding door several times. The doors drag and scrape.

I have stayed at multiple hotels along the beach in Vero Beach, Florida, and this hotel has one of the best locations, but it is one of the most rundown. It needs updating and needs a total facelift, and then until the property invest money in the rooms and grounds, it will just be like a motel six on the beach. Honest review, not dirty, but not in line with very expensive for oceanfront rooms close by.
