Nous avons été enchantés par tout l’historique du domaine , son lac magnifique et Surtout avoir été très très bien accueillis :-)) Vraiment un îlot de paix et serein pour une halte Trop courte... dès que nous en auront l’occasion... on y retournera ... Pour approfondir et découvrir ... cette prochaine fois ont prendra le temps De si attardés, de flâner ... vraiment parfait pour un retour au source:-)) et ce reposer... un petit déjeuner Succulent et convivial entre convives De toutes horizons... Le seul bémol lors de notre passage... c’était le week-end du 1er Août 2020 ou Malgré la chaleur Qui était à l’extrême... Une très belle expérience en Bresse

Nous avons pu séjourner, ma famille et moi-même, dans cette maison d’hôte/gîte au cours d’un déplacement d’affaires. Le cadre amène à une très grande quiétude et cette ferme à été restaurée vécue goût tout en gardant le charme d’antan. Le petit est excellent, avec des produits du terroir Et servi par les propriétaires. Ces derniers so not charmants et ne manqueront pas d’echanger avec vous. Bref un très bon moment et un grand merci aux propriétaires.

Très agréable sejour dans cette chambre d'hôte atypique où les propriétaires, Madame et Monsieur Pont, ont choisi de garder le style du bâtiment. À savoir une ferme du XV ème siècle. Le petit-déjeuner était parfait, de quoi contenter tous les goûts avec des produits de qualité.

Historic and beautiful

A wonderful experience at this 15th century converted farmhouse. The rooms have been beautifully restored and the flowers and the landscaping in front are also beautiful. The hospitality shown by the family was very welcoming, Andre, Cnantal and Isobel conversed with us throughout the delicious homemade breakfast in their home, in a mixture of English and French. The room was warm and spacious and tastefully restored and decorated.

Une ferme du XVe siècle à l'écart du monde.

Un endroit de rêve dans une ferme du XVe siècle, à l'écart de tout bruit, de toute nuisance sonore. Accueil très chaleureux. Petit déjeuner pantagruélique. Un lieu authentique, vecteur d'émotions, et, évidemment, rustique: la brique, le bois, les vieilles poutres, la cheminée gigantesque, le petit musée de la vie rurale créé par nos hôtes. On a adoré.

A truly beautiful taste of France!

Having spent a week skiing, we decided to break up our trip home and were looking for somewhere interesting to stay rather than the usual clinical roadside hotel. We stumbled across La Ferme de Montalibord on Hotels.com and booked the family room. The hotel is situated in the middle of the French countryside, and although in a very rural location, it was well signposted which was great as we arrived late at night. The room was located in a converted 13th Century barn. The conversion was lovely, balancing a homely French farmhouse design, with modern clean bathrooms. This hotel is bursting with character and was a welcome little taste of France having stayed at a multiple chain on the way down. The icing on the cake was being able to join our hosts for a truly delicious breakfast in their home. All ingredients were locally sourced and prepared by the lady of the house, including homemade brioche, local cheeses, preserves and charcuterie together with a truly fabulous chocolate mousse for our delighted son. If ever we are travelling through this area again, we will be sure to return. An absolute gem!

Le bonheur est à Montalibord.

Situé en une campagne magnifique, cette ferme est hors du temps . Envoutante apaisante un bien-être ressenti ! cet endroit est riche en histoires et leurs propriétaires savent si bien narrer cela.... L'accueil est exceptionnel, comme les petits déjeuners, tous les produits du terroir (fait maison) sont sur la table à profusion et de qualité. Un savoir recevoir extraordinaire ! une gentillesse qui nous fait oublier un instant les tracas de la vie actuelle . Merci beaucoup.
