Short stop in Vicksburg

A lot of cigarette smoke: people smoke right in front of the rooms. We were excited to at least get to relax in a pool on this stop but it was closed the whole time. A/C worked great. Everything else was sufficient enough for a quick place to sleep.

Fine for the price

Service was great! Room was fine enough. Could use some updating (a plug didn't work and the toilet was a bit wobbly). Breakfast was a bit limited, but yummy.

The room was extremely unclean. The fridge was disgusting and had rotting food stains, the sink and mirror were uncleaned, the towels were stained, the bathtub did not drain, there was dirt on all the walls, hair under the sheets, and extremely flat pillows and uncomfortable bed. We stayed two nights and housekeeping did nothing other than fold the towels, they did not even make the bed or take the trash out. The location is good since it is near the military park but there needs to be new housekeeping. Breakfast is also extremely limited and I think they should be more clear in the description that it is not a full breakfast just small muffins, toast, and cereal. Nothing hot. Overall I definitely would not stay again.

Internet did not work. Front desk offered a telephone number to technical support who also could not get the internet to work. T.V. didn't work. Front desk tried to help but there were numerous steps to take to turn the T.V. on (Remote not working) then several steps to find a channel. Missing wash cloth in bathroom, No ice. Light didn't work from entry light switch. I have stayed in worse places but I can't remember when. Rooms were clean and large. Beds were comfortable.
