A little disappointed

We found the underground parking confusing and difficult to navigate and not lit up well. The whole underground space seemed claustrophobic. It’s a great location but our room seemed a bit drab. We had a king bed but was too soft for my taste and the TV channels and remote were nearly impossible to figure out. The TV was housed in a cabinet and was small for today’s standards. The elevators were annoying slow to respond

We were excited to stay in a beautiful hotel on the ocean. The photos of the rooms online looked lovely. We brought our dog so we were put into a pet friendly room. The room smelt like wet dog as soon as we walked in and did not look like the photos online. We had 2 sheets and an extremly thin blanket, no duvet on our beds. The refrigerator was in a cupboard and got very warm when the cupboard doors were closed. The smoke detector blinked red for the entirety of our stay. The balcony was beautiful. Having the sliding door open throughout the night was the best part of the room. The pool was nice but very busy at all hours. Room service is not avilable after 9pm which was a bummer. The underground parking was convenient (with a car or small truck - spaces are super tight). The staff were very friendly. The location is perfect. There is so much to see within walking distance. There are a lots of spots to take your dog outside. I felt super safe taking him out alone at night. You can't leave your dog in the room alone, which I'm sure is a common policy. The bar has a great vibe. The drinks are definitely pricey. We didnt eat at the hotel resturant so I can't comment on the quality or service. It looked nice and had a cool outdoor sitting area. We enjoyed our time here but wouldn't book again. The hotel is over priced for what you get. We had no problem spending the extra money on a great experience, but this hotel fell flat on that.

Clean rooms, not great AC.

The hotel is right beside the parliament building so within easy walking distance of the City core. Parking is behind the hotel underground. Very limited on P1 buy once you find entrance to P2 & P3 there was more room. Gym and pool shared with the Athletic Club. Our room was recently renovated. The room was quite clean but the beds were very hard and not comfortable at all. We were on the 2nd floor which is not secured by key card so anyone can get on to the level. The AC wasn't great and reset itself during the night which was very frustrating. The window didnt open. The balcony door did but because we were on the 2nd floor it opened onto the roof and we were told not to leave the patio door open at night so the room became very stuffy.

The hotel staff were standouts. Very friendly always. Our room was unfortunately next to the somewhat loud elevator but the room was fine. And it’s in a great location. Walk to everything!

This is a great hotel especially if you are travelling with small kids. They had a crib for my son and a rollaway bed for my daughter. The location cannot be beat. The onsite coffee bar and restaurant are both wonderful. The staff was so friendly and helpful and the pool is the best hotel pool I have ever experienced. It was phenomenal. We will stay here again for sure.

The hotel is ideally located for walking and nearby attractions. The staff was generally polite and helpful, although the valet provided the service that stood out. The room was clean, and the view was lovely. However, I do feel the furniture and television could use some updating. The TV was relatively small and was about 20 years old, and I say this honestly because I had the same TV about 20 years ago. The armour and bed frames were quite out old as well. A mounted TV and new bed frames would be a nice upgrade. The mattress was comfortable, and I woke up with no pain. The athletic club was adequate. Overall, I think the location is the best part of the stay. For the price, though, I am not sure I’d stay again.

The staff were really welcoming and kind always smiling. But there were a couple of things that bothered me. First, the noise was awful. I could hear constant banging from the ceiling, like someone was stomping around upstairs. The second issue was with the restaurant on the ground floor. We went there on a Saturday night, and even though it wasn’t busy, the host said we couldn’t get a table because we didn’t have a reservation. After a while, he gave us a table but didn’t seem happy about it. We ordered our food, but after finishing our starters, we had to wait almost half an hour for the main dishes. It was really frustrating, and my kids kept asking to leave. When the food finally came, we just ate quickly and went back to our room. Except those two things, we liked to stay at this hotel!
