The rooms were pretty quiet. I really liked that the staff made it a point to stress the quiet hours. The shower had good water pressure. The TV worked and the breakfast was good as well. The only suggestions I have is that the breakfast could benefit from another one of those pancake makers because that’s pretty much the bulk of the breakfast that people like. So there is usually a line when it gets busy. The other part is that the inn is located far enough from the city that it isn’t super convenient if you want to visit Victoria a lot without moving the car. Victoria charges for parking and there’s a lot of pedestrians. Parking the car at the inn is annoying because the spots are small as well as low in quantity. If it’s busy, you might have to park on the street (the streets are tiny when you have parking on both sides of the street with two way traffic. Lastly, apparently the sheets get cleaned with an extra chemical when they are extra dirty. Depending on the amount of tough stains and amount of time those chemicals sit on the cloth, can change the appearance of the sheets. Sometimes that chemical leaves suspicious (and frankly off putting) stains on the sheets that look like other fluids. Maybe time to replace those sheets?

Worth a stay, the family liked it

Great place to stay. The location is good, the staff is very friendly, the amenities are great. A one bedroom suite offers you a separate room for parents while the kids sleep on the pull-out sofa in the living room and the kids will be thrilled with the continental breakfast too. Modestly equipped kitchen and fridge are helpful. Laundry options too. Our unit clearly allowed smoking sometime in the distant past but the air still remained noticeably stale; opening the windows and the included AC unit help and you get used to it quickly. Free EV charging also super helpful. Would stay again!

I liked the staff, they were pretty nice. We've been to rundown/older hotels before and usually with that amount, it is worth every penny, so we were excited to see the room; however, the moment we opened it, it smelled bad. We had to open the door and turn on the ventilation to at least get some of the odor out. When we went down to get some soap because the bar soap in the room have been used for cleaning butt, we were told that they don't provide one as they have shampooconditionerbodywash in our washroom and since there is only one bottle, we thought it was that. There was a sign that said "we got you covered" but when we asked for shaving tools, they don't have any. We were told we can use/drink anything in the great room but the chocolate and coffee is very watered down and not even enough to change the color to a very light shade of brown. I booked frankly due to price and parking not expecting much but exceeded my expectations completely. Rooms have been well appointed with new bathrooms and excellent furnishings. The staff were so helpful, friendly, offering great restaurant suggestions, free shuttle services to downtown Victoria, let us check our bags and even check in early. Reasonably priced and easy to walk to downtown Breakfast was the weakest part of our experience but I would stay there again without hesitation.
