We rent a spacious 2-room apartment in charming. 5 District Margaret. The famous Naschmarkt and Mariahilferstrasse the longest shopping street in Vienna, just a few minutes. The U4 (Pilgramgasse) is only a minute away and takes you to such famous landmarks as the Schönbrunn Palace, Belvedere Palace or Charles Square as a starting point for walks through the city.
The apartment was top-renovated in 2012 and has the charming features of a typical Viennese old-style apartment, such as parquet floor, double doors and high ceilings.
A bedroom with double bed and a comfortable pull-out coach in the living room can sleep 4 people. Kitchen and bathroom are very complete. Sheets and towels are available.
The living room opens onto a balcony in absolute quiet. Nevertheless, you can reach the underground in two minutes on foot.

Spacious, clean, modern apt in old building. Bring a corkscrew if you want wine. Directions for TV and house rules are in German so if you don't read German, it's a bit challenging.

Eine Wohnung für Gute Laune

Wir haben als Paar sechs Wochen hier gewohnt und hatten beim Heimkommen stets gute Laune: alles hell, freundlich, einfach-geschmackvoll, und der Blick/ Austritt zum kleinen Balkon zum Frühstück und Aperitif (wir hatten 6 Wochen fast immer über 30°C). Die Lage ist ideal, 2 Stationen mit der U-Bahn zum Karlsplatz. PKW geht in Wien gar nicht, Abstellen gut möglich im P+R-Haus in Hütteldorf (direkt mit der U 4, 3,50 €/Tag, Langzeit ermäßigt). Angenehm-urbanes Umfeld, Zeitung und Bäcker, prima Lokal-Szene. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Super Aufenthalt

Die Wohnung liegt in einer sehr schönen Umgebung mit vielen netten Restaurants und ist trotzdem sehr ruhig. U-Bahn in der Nähe und somit ist alles sehr schnell zu erreichen. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und würden die Wohnung auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Die Beschreibung der Ferienwohnung ist absolut zutreffend. Eine wunderbar ruhige Lage ermöglicht es abends, nach einem ausgefüllten Tag in der Stadt, auf dem Balkon zu entspannen. In der Nähe sind mehrere empfehlenswerte Restaurants und Cafes. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden die Wohnung für einen weiteren Aufenthalt in Wien wieder buchen.

Die Wohnung liegt sehr Zentral und Ruhig. 5 Minuten zur U4 Station. 2 Haltestellen zum Karlsplatz und 4 Haltestellen zum Schwedenplatz. Der Naschmarkt ist auch in der Nähe. Ventilator war auch vorhanden, den wir bei der Sommerhitze gut gebrauchen konnten. Deshalb nur 4 Sterne, weil das Schlafzimmer etwas grösser sein könnte. Die Wohnung kann man empfehlen für einen Städtentripp.

Schöner, ruhiger und zentraler geht es kaum. Absoluter Geheimtipp!

Was für ein Glücksfall: Wir hätten in dieser wunderbaren Wohnung auch ganz leicht viele, viele Wochen verbringen können... Die U-Bahn ist nur eine Minute entfernt, die Wohnung liegt in einer belebten Gasse mit vielen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Dabei absolut ruhig, da im hinteren Gebäude. Wunderschön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit allem, was man so braucht. Aber, und das empfanden WIR als höchst wohltuend, ohne überflüssigen Krimskrams und Schnickschnack, ohne kitschige Kaufhausbilder an den Wänden etc. Und super sauber! Leider geben die Fotos nicht im mindesten wieder, wie sehr man sich hier wohl fühlen kann. Lasst euch davon nicht abschrecken! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, gerne auch im Sommer, wenn wir nach einem anstrengenden Touristentag den kleinen, süßen Balkon nutzen können auf ein Glas Wein oder zwei....

Helle, ruhige Wohnung mit großem Wohnzimmer in zentraler Lage

Die Wohnung befindet sich im 1. OG eines Altbaus, ist aber selbst modern möbliert bzw. ausgestattet. Vom geräumigen Wohnzimmer mit Balkon blickt man in begrünte Höfe. Es dringt viel Tageslicht in die Wohnung, wenn auch aufgrund der Lage im 1. OG und der Höhe der Gebäude in der Umgebung (im Oktober) wenig direkte Sonneneinstrahlung, wohl aber durch Spiegelungen, hineingelangt. Flachbildfernseher mit vielen Sendern und WLan funktionieren einwandfrei. Die Küchenzeile im Flur zum Wohnzimmer ist mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet, Funktion einwandfrei. Wir haben allerhöchstens eine Mikrowelle vermisst. Auch eine funktionstüchtige Waschmaschine befindet sich in einer Flurnische. Bügeleisen ist vorhanden (jedoch kein Bügelbrett, wir regen an, ggf. eines bereitzustellen). Das Badezimmer ist sehr geräumig und modern eingerichtet, mit zwei Waschbecken und ohne Stufe bodengleich begehbarer Dusche.Im kleinen, aber völlig ausreichenden Schlafzimmer befindet sich ein bequemes Bett. Für mehr als zwei Personen könnten die Unterbringungsmöglichkeiten für Kleidung zumindest bei längeren Aufenthalten knapp werden. Wir waren für vier Wochen zu zweit vor Ort und fühlten uns recht wohl.

Schöne Wohnung in idealer Lage

Wir waren vom 2. bis 9. Juni 2018 in der Ferienwohnung und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die nächste Bushaltestelle ist 1 Minute entfernt, die U-Bahn ca. 3 Minuten. Für einen Wienbesuch also ideal. Lebensmittelgeschäfte sind direkt gegenüber, es ist also alles schnell erledigt. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Leider sind der Schrank und die Komode im Schlafzimmer schon etwas abgewohnt, da wäre Ersatz für die Zukunft wünschenswert. Da in der Nachbarwohnung eine Katze zuhause ist, und diese oft auf den Balkon der Ferienwohnung kommt und bei geöffneter Balkontüre auch gerne mal in die Wohnung reinkommt, ist die Wohnung für Katzenhaarallergiker ungeeignet. Insgesamt jedoch kann ich die Wohnung empfehlen, für die relative Innenstadt nahe Lage ist die Wohnung sehr ruhig gelegen. Zum Hbf fährt man in ca. 15 Minuten mit dem Bus, der Naschmarkt ist eine Haltestelle mit der U-Bahn entfernt, jedoch auch zu Fuß in 10 Minuten erreichbar. Zur Oper(Karlsplatz) sind es ebenfalls gute 10 Minuten mit der U-Bahn. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Eine Oase in phantastischer Traumlage!

Diese wunderschöne Altbauwohnung bot uns einen absolut ruhigen und lauschigen (Balkon) Platz, um uns zu erholen. Unsere Ausflugsziele konnten wir von hier aus sehr bequem erreichen. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war von Anfang an sehr herzlich und wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen.

Very nice, but bed could be improved

I have stayed in this appartment twice, and I like it a lot. Central and well equipped. From last time the sofa in the living room was new - and much improved. I would say to make this appartment perfect is to do something with the bed, a bit too hard for my taste. The owner might want to spend a night or two in it to find a good solution :-)
