The bathroom was very clean and spacious. However the room for 4 people was ridiculously small. It is an old beautiful hotel so allowances must be made for that. However the beds were very uncomfortable.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel was in a fantastic location, being next to the Votive Church, 5 minutes to the metro station and 20 minutes walk to the centre of the city. Most of the staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. However, we did get shouted at by a member of staff for changing tables at breakfast as we initially sat at a table that was not made up with all the cutlery, cups etc. Overall, we did have a wonderful stay and would not let this one incident put us off from recommending or returning.

I loved this hotel. It wasn't the fanciest room but it had a lot of charm which is what I wanted. Our room had a view of the Votive church which was amazing. We ate at the restaurant which was good. It's about a 20 minute walk to center of town but the subway and other public transportation is close by.
