I was in town for work for a week, and had a nice stay. The available breakfast bag was overpriced for what you got, but being able to have something dropped of at my room early so I could get out and moving for 8:30 am meetings was really helpful. Free espresso in the hotel room each morning also came in handy. It's an older building so floors are understandably creaky - I found it charming, but ymmv. My flight arrived late at night and the provided instructions for getting my key and accessing the building worked no problem. I'd stay again.

Zola is perfectly situated, merely minutes walk from the U-Bahn. Upon arrival the staff were friendly and professional and took the time to thoroughly explain the hotel and functions of the room. Everything looked nice but there was quite a bit that didn’t work. The blind in the bathroom is broken so people could see in from the other building, the bed side lamps were not charged, the phone was never answered either calling internally or externally, the pillows were the worst I’ve ever experienced and there was no alternative. Overall it felt very style over substance.

Of all the hotels I stayed at during my time throughout Europe, this was my favorite experience. I sadly only had time to stay for one night, but it was wonderful. The room was spacious, very clean, packed with amenities and cute touches (the open Émile Zola book when I checked in was such a nice touch!!) The staff was helpful and kind. Great location, out of the hustle and bustle of the city but a quick metro ride away from everything. If I make it back to Vienna, I would love to stay there again!

The hotel is still new, with a lovely design and feel. Staff is very friendly & helpful. It's located in a more residential district and breakfast is offered complimentary at a sister property.
