The beauty of the Outer Banks in North Carolina, without the long drive! The Cape May Beach community on the Delaware Bay has also been compared to Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket, with its rustic, natural beaches and tranquil sand dunes. The best kept secret at the New Jersey shore, this beautiful home is just 5 houses from the bay, steps to the soft sand and secluded beaches that boast the most magnificent sunsets in the area. Our location, the immediate 5 block area is special ---- no busy road to cross to get to the bay like you have in Townbank, and direct access from our street to the beach with no homes in the way like other areas of Cape May Beach. This unspoiled beach compliments the nature lover, and with the subtle waves of the Delaware bay, it is the perfect beach for families with small children. Just a bike ride away from the Cox Hall Creek Nature preserve or the Cape May-Lewes Ferry, there is plenty to enjoy at this comfortable home. Three bedrooms, two baths, sleeps six, (two queen and two twin beds) with a first floor master suite. Big screen TV in the newly renovated living area, fully appointed brand new eat-in kitchen, deck with table and umbrella, screened-in covered deck with table and extra seating. Bikes, pack and play, beach chairs and umbrella, propane gas grill, plenty of off-street parking, ceiling fans and tvs in all rooms, washer, dryer, dishwasher, unlimited Wifi included. Netflix available at no charge. Ten minutes from the bustling activities and fun of historic Cape May and fifteen minutes from the excitement-filled boardwalk in Wildwood. Sheets and towels not provided. Saturday to Saturday rentals only from mid June to mid September, minimum 7 days, (with some exceptions). This property and the surrounding area must be seen to be appreciated, come experience the natural beauty that abounds!

We loved our stay here! It was quiet and just a few houses away from the bay beach. The house was cute, clean and well stocked. We loved that there were bikes to use. We biked to the nature preserve and ice cream shop nearby. I would definitely recommend this place and hope we can stay here again sometime!

My wife and daughter thoroughly enjoyed their week stay. Very convenient location with quick access to the Bayside and minutes from the ocean and excitement Cape May has to offer. The owners were wonderful to work with - excellent communication throughout booking, getting checked in & out, and setting them up to use the kayaks.

Great summer 2025 vacation!Colleen & Joe's lovely immaculate home was a perfect location for our family group. Being steps away from vibrant sunsets on the bay was most enjoyable. Use of the bikes, beach chairs & umbrellas are a generous bonus. Grilling at home and enjoying the deck/ screened porch followed with fire pit smores was a nights perfect end. Note, 4 minutes away are multiple yum ice cream parlor/stands. Wonderful extended family memories were made. Thank you!

Graduation Trip

We took our daughter to beautiful Cape May for a quick graduation trip before college. The house is on a beautiful and quiet street, four houses away from a very private beach. Close to lots of cute restaurants and shopping in downtown Cape May. We recommend!

Can't wait to return!

We had the best stay in this lovely home. We were so comfortable and felt right at home! It is beautifully decorated and also spacious. Everything we could have needed was provided (except sheets and towels, which we were informed to bring, and that was totally fine). We especially enjoyed the living room space and the screened in porch. The homeowners were very kind and helpful and easy to communicate with. The neighborhood is residential, quaint, and very quiet and peaceful. We love being so close to the bay beach, where we spend a lot of time sitting and taking walks. We also enjoyed being a short ride to the ocean beach and the shops. We had the best time and can't wait to return!

Beautiful Beach House, Great Location!

This is a sweet, well kept house, with a great layout - one Bedroom and Bath downstairs gave privacy and easy access for our elderly friend, and two quiet upstairs bedrooms for us and our son. Easy walk in a friendly neighborhood to a lovely quiet beach.

Family beach vacation

House was as described. Space was perfect for a family of 5. Room for teens and children. Outdoor space and distance to bay was perfect. Quiet street, comfy couches and beds, kitchen fully stocked. We immediately felt right at home. Use of chairs and bikes was a bonus. One of the best rentals we’ve used.

Awesome House With Beach Vibes and Close to Bay!

This house was awesome and just what we needed. Plenty of space for our family and a quick walk to the bay (less than 5 minutes). It was also very clean and had everything we needed. We loved the beachy feel of this house too! There was also a lot of outdoor space for morning coffee or just getting some fresh air The hosts were very responsive and made sure we had no issues with our vacation. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Cape May!

Amazing Beach Bungalow Vacation!

My family had an awesome vacation in Cape May NJ at the hosts home. The home owners were so friendly, extremely informative about the area and when we walked into the house we were so pleased. Escape the Cape Triathalon Trip

What a homey place to stay on a quiet street, surrounded by greenery! A private backyard with a great fire pit and outdoor shower made it feel like a wonderful mix of beach vacation and luxury camping. The house is beautifully decorated, comfortable furniture and plenty of room. Small touches were appreciated…coffee station, Q-tips in the bathroom, and books and games to enjoy. The bikes and kayaks were an added bonus. A great place with kind hosts that my family and I hope to visit again!

Perfect getaway!

We love Cape May and have been going for years! The location for us was perfect 10 min into town on the bay side which for MDW is better as it is warmer and there was no one there! Loved all the little touches and decor! We loved taking the bikes for a ride and even used the outside shower. Communication with Kathleen and Joe was great from booking to check out. It was truly the perfect adult weekend. We will be back! Thank you so much!

Nice Neighborhood

Great little house with everything you would need to enjoy your stay. We rode bikes everyday and enjoyed the neighborhood and proximity to nature preserve and trails. Kitchen was well stocked and house was very clean. Thank you!

Great Place to Visit

This is a very pleasant house with a kitchen full of everything you need. We were there in cold weather so we didn't enjoy the fire pit but it would be nice in the warmer months. There was a glitch in VRBO's reservation system but communication with the hosts got it fixed easily. While we never saw them, they seem like very nice people and have a very nice house.

Magnificent!

The listing photos are good but the house is even better! Well appointed and private home steps away from the bay. We couldn't have had a better stay! Our hosts were incredible and warm. The house had all of the amenities and spaces to be together when we wanted and seclusion when reading a book or relaxing. Wonderfully private. The locals were so kind and welcoming. We cannot wait to return!

Terrific first time in Cape May!

This was our first time in Cape May and this house/location was perfect! House is very nice and well equipped. Baby gates and pack and play were greatly appreciated. Quick walk to a mostly empty beach. Great restaurants nearby. Will definitely be back.
